Purpose of the Study
In recent years, there has been a progress in gender equality in the Philippines, however, the perception of women participation in politics is still arguable to this day. The purpose of this study is to explore the Filipino citizens’ perception towards women in participation and leadership in politics. The study will also examine the attitudes, beliefs, and societal barriers that shape these perceptions and affect their preferences in voting for electoral candidates. This research aims to gain a profound understanding regarding the phenomenon since perceptions can either break or make barriers and biases. In addition, this research seeks to provide insights for promoting gender inclusivity and women empowerment in politics. With the deeper understanding that this research study will gain, it will utilize the different perceptions to ascertain whether or not there is gender equality within politics and how the presence or absence of such factor affects the political development.
Statement of the Problem
This study aims to configure the perceptions of Filipino Citizens towards women in politics. In order to do this effectively, the research will seek the answers to the following questions: • What are the perceptions of Filipino citizens towards women in politics? • What are the significant effects of the women’s presence in the government? • How does the perceptions of Filipino citizens towards women in politics affect their voting behavior? Traversing Between the Political and Spiritual Realms: The Influence of Religious Affiliation Towards Political Participation
Purpose of the Study
The purpose of this study is to examine the influences of religious affiliation towards political participation, particularly its involvement in politics. This research aims to gain a deeper understanding regarding the phenomenon since the separation of the church and the state is an established fact but there is still an interplay and overlapping of these two aspects. With the deeper understanding that this research study will gain, the researchers will analyze the insights about the complex relationship of religion and politics. By exploring this, the study will ascertain the role of religion in politics and how such religious affiliations influence an individual’s voting behavior as well as their political engagement.

This study aims to understand how people’s religious beliefs affect their political engagement, how they view politics, and whether their religious beliefs influence their judgement in choosing a candidate to support. Purpose of the Study
The purpose of this study is to re-inspect and examine the importance of having qualifications unto the level of educational attainment of public officials and electoral candidates in order to execute a more effective and efficient public serving. This study will also assess the discrepancies in educational qualifications of candidates. With the deeper understanding attained in this study, it will aim to provide insights and reinforcement of the concept that the standardization of educational background on electoral candidates strengthens democracy and public administration.
