1. This Invitation for Tender follows the General Procurement Notice for this
Project which appeared in Tanzania National e-Procurement System
(TANePS)- www.taneps.go.tz dated 9/8/2021
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operations of Marine
Services Company Limited (MSCL) during the financial year 2021/22. It is
intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible
payment under the contract for REHABILITATION OF MT UKEREWE FOR
TENDER NO PA/115/MSCL/W/2021-2022/01 IN LAKE VICTORIA
3. The Marine Services Company Limited now invites tenders from contractors
registered in Class II and above for Marine contractors or ship Builders.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering
procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations. Interested eligible
Tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tendering
Documents provided on TANePS
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English may be obtained or
downloaded through TANePS.
6. Tenderers are required to register on the TANePS and pay tender participation
fees indicated in the TANePS to able to participate in this tendering process
7. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing in the format provided
in the Tendering Documents.
8. All Tenders must be submitted through TANePS at or before 1000hrs on 26th
June, 2022. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter on TANePS dashboard
and tenderers may participate in the opening by logging into the TANePS.
9. Tenders not received or opened through TANePS shall not be accepted for
evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
