#PAUSE FOR A CAUSE

The film opens in a semi- dark room where the husband and 7-8 months Pregnant wife are
sitting in a living area on the sofa in a distant gap. The life of husband & wife displays by the
light present in the room. The light was more focused on the wife's part. The wife is reading
a Novel and the husband is scrolling phone from right hand and smoking from his left
hand.The husband keeps his left hand down where the monthly reports of the wife /Soon to
be papa greeting card are kept on the table. The fire inside the cigarette catches the paper
and it starts burning the paper. Wife looks worriedly at the Husband side.
The Gap in between gets
filled by the information in a typographic format.

and 13% increased risk of congenital malformation. Pregnant women exposed to
passive smoke are more prone to premature birth and their baby is more at
risk of low birthweight and sudden infant death syndrome (cot death). And
children who live in a smoky house are at higher risk of breathing problems, asthma,
and allergies.

2. The film opens in a room with a time lapse of a man who lives alone. The time
lapse is about a daily schedule of him getting up ready, cooking, eating, watering the
only plant, going to the office, and coming back from the office. The highlight of the
time lapse is in between in all the activities the man smokes. A man lives alone in the
house but there is only one plant (to show the other living) kept beside the sofa. As
time lapse goes the man gets sick and the plant gets dry. In the last shot, the man is
lying on the sofa and the plant is fully dry. Leaves are shed. The house plant died.
Man is looking at the dead plant. The gap in between them will be filled by the
information in a typographic format.

Content- Smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke kill about 1.2 million
Indians each year. India accounts for 70% of the global burden of smokeless
tobacco. Passive smoking is as dangerous as smoking.
