Consider…..
1. Activity: A person is puts a finger in hot water glass.
2. Data gathering: The nerves send pain data to the brain.
3. Processing: Brain evaluates data and learn that pain comes from
the finger
4. Information: The painful finger means that it's not in a good place.
5. Action: Brain tells finger to remove itself from hot water.
6. Knowledge: Sticking finger in hot water is a bad idea.

Knowledge: understanding of the "rules" of a situation.
