You can make a passive sentence active by moving the subject in front of the verb.

Practice removing a passive voice

Have a look at these sentences. Underline the subject and circle the object. Then rewrite the sentences in the
active voice.

1. Room keys should be returned at the time of checkout.

2. Enjoyment of our boutique hotel comes from the beautiful rooms, gourmet food and outstanding service.

3. The lodge was founded by husband and wife team Jen and Andy in early 2013.

5. Any reservation changes can be made by contacting us via email.

6. Vehicles can be parked at the car park found at the back of the hotel.
