Instructions & How to Use

We took a ride on the Amtrak Downeaster as a family & enjoyed all there was
to do an see on the train & decided to make our own family train bingo. We
hope it will help prepare your family for a train trip, but also keep everyone
entertained to & from your destination wherever your train takes you.
!
There are 4 separate “TRAIN” bingo cards. You can work
together in teams or individually. Work to make:
• a train line or train tracks [5 in a row, a column, or a diagonal.]
• a train crossing [X as two diagonals]
• a train stop [blackout].
!
Exclaim “TRAIN!” when you are able to get a “train line”
completed.Make the “Choo Choo” noise for a crossing
completed & announce “All Aboard” when you get a train stop.
!
To help pass the time, consider a small reward once someone
reaches 5 and/or the X like a walk to the train cafe to get a
treat.

Use the last page (and make copies for each child if needed) as
a way to explore the train and/or pass the time if you complete
TRAIN bingo early!
