About the speaker:


Prof Rabindra Kishore Mishra, retired from Berhampur University as Professor in Electronic Science. He is recipient of many
awards including: “Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Teachers Award, 2015; Samanta Chandra Sekhar Award in 2012
for Engineering and Technology by Odisha Bigyan Academy under Department of Science and Technology in Government of
Odisha; Hari Ohm Ashram Prerit Hari Ballava Das Chunnilal Research Endowment Award, 2000; Sir J C Bose Award, 2000 by
IETE India”. He visited the Birmingham University under Common Wealth Fellowship 1999. He has supervised 25 doctoral
thesis and published 200 research papers with recent citations of 2121, i10-index of 43 and h-index of 23. A senior member
of the IEEE he was past Chairman of the IEEE AP/MTT Chapter of Kolkota Section during 2012-13, and the chapter received
Outstanding Chapter for 2012 by the IEEE MTT Society and Best Chapter for 2013 by the IEEE AP Society. He has organized
workshops/tutorials around the world including Colorado (IEEE IMS 2000), Paris (EuMC 2000), Kuala Lumpur (APMC 2017).
