Based on your own school experiences information you have read and
discussions you have had with others. What is your opinion of Inclusion?
What is the basis of your opinion? How will inclusion affect you as an
Educator?

Based in my own school experiences information that I have read and

discussion that I had with others. My opinion in Inclusion is, I don’t see any
problem with that. There is nothing wrong with Inclusion because a student
with special disability is also a human like other students with out
disabilities. Let’s take this chance to give a student with disability to
socialize with other student or even to other people. It’s really satisfactory
if we saw a student with disability socialize with a student without
disability, we can see the respect of each other. And that gives a calmness
for students with disability.

My basis for this is, with inclusion for students with and without
disabilities they will build a friendship skill, peer models, problem solving
and respect. It is also important to consider the type of assistance you will
give to a student with disabilities. Children with these special disabilities
need to train to live independently and given them a time to be successful
without helping them too much.

Inclusion affects me as an educator by being firm and compassionate.

I need to be firm because inclusion with students with and without
disabilities is quietly hard. Yes, I know inclusion doesn’t have any problem
but as an educator it is hard for us to look for all students and I cannot
promise that I can look for them 24 hours especially for those students with
disabilities. But, as an educator and as a Human I need to be firm so that I
can teach and look for them as much as I can. Also, I need to be
compassionate because even a student with or without disabilities are need
to be educated. They need to learn, to socialize and to be respected.
2. How do high quality instruction, assistive technology, positive behavior
supports, and collaboration support inclusion?
 High quality instruction is crucial in Inclusion by giving them precise
direction and being fair. You can prevent confusion or the feeling that some
of the pupils are being left out. Don’t be too much by giving them
instruction that they didn’t understand especially with students with
disabilities.

Assistive technology is also important and better because we are in

todays with a technology. We used technology as an educational thing. It
makes the students more educated and more enjoyable.

Positive behavior support one of the most important things as a

teacher. As of now, as a student it makes me feel scared if I have a terror
teacher. I feel humiliated when she scolds me or anything. I understand
some teacher lose their patience but there is no reason to make feel student
being humiliated. Instead of humiliated them. Be respectful as you can and
always make them feel that they are all special and loved.

Collaboration support inclusion is also important because it builds not

a friendship but also a respect. They can learn each other. Also, teacher
should be more questionable about their student. Teachers should know
what is the strength and weaknesses of his/her students. So, that teachers can
provide the thing that they needed.
