Job description:

1) Preoperative preparation of cardiac and chest surgical

patients.
2) Intraoperative assistance including ( opening , preparation
for cardiopulmonary bypass, hemostasis and closure )
3) Perfusionist on cardiopulmonary bypass.
4) Postoperative ICU management of cardiac surgical
patients.
5) Postoperative ward management.
 6) Postoperative outpatient clinic follow up.
7) Management of chest trauma.
8) Insertion of chest tubes and chemical pleurodesis for
malignant pleural effusion.
9) Basic echocardiography assessment of cardiac surgical
patients.
