DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Safety and Health Officer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing safety and health measures for students and personnel accords the
university.
2. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols in accordance with regulatory
standards.
3. Developing and maintaining safety and health policies and procedures.
4. Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential
hazards.
5. Collaborating with different offices to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
6. Leading efforts to achieve ISO 45001 certification for Occupational Health and Safety
Management Systems.
7. Implementing measures to enhance sanitation practices and promote a hygienic
environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In line with our commitment to environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance, the
following duties, responsibilities, and reporting requirements are hereby defined for the
Pollution Control Officer:

1. Perform the duties and responsibilities stipulated in Section 10 of DENR


Administrative Order No. 02-2014.
2. Overseeing and implementing measures to control pollution and minimize
environmental impact within our university’s operations.
3. Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and
standards.
4. Developing and maintaining pollution prevention and control programs.
5. Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential sources
of pollution
6. Collaborating with various offices to integrate pollution control measures into daily
operations
7. Serving as the primary point of contact for environmental agencies and regulatory
bodies.
8. Providing training and guidance to staff on pollution control practices and
procedures.
