About Us
We, as the Editorial Committee, would first
like to extend a warm welcome to our new
students and matrics. Welcome to 2024, we
wish you a year filled with academic sucess.
The Editorial Committee is a committee
that is committed to capturing the schools
precious moments as well as document

TERM 1
Mr. A. Pillay
Mr. Pillay is our headmaster.
He is also a maths teacher for
grade 8. Mr. Pillay oversees
the daily operation and
management of the school
along with Mrs. Oosthuyse.

office and assists our
prinicpal's time management.
THE EDITORIAL COMMITTEE
PRESENTS:
Concord's teachers and students. We saw lots of new
faces that contribute to Concord's family and light.
We had the colour run. A fun day in the form of a
sports day. Students were required to run 2
kilometers. We kicked off at the school, ran to the

Mrs. N. Schild
Mrs. Schild is a history and
2023 | CONCORD COLLEGE
english teacher for the senior
grades. She is also our head
of academics.
Diggers Rugby Club, ran a whole lap around the
field, and back to the school. Upon arrival, we were
greeted with a splash of powdered paint.
The Matrics were in charge of the grill. They
prepared tasty boerewors rolls. Drinks were also sold
on site. This was a great event and an even better
fundraiser!

The Editorial Committee (formerly: The YearBook

Committee), welcomed it's new managing editor
Lungelo. Along with Miss Olivier, Lungelo has since
helped lead and provide a steady structure to the
committee.
Structure 2024
We are currently trying to
structure the committee, for our
members to better understand
their roles as well as duties.
We have set many new time
monitoring systems to insure
that the newsletters come out on
time.
We have already designed the
instagram posts that you should
see soon!
Goals 2024
The EDC always strives to stay on top of affairs. As a result our plans for this year are as
follows:
To finally start with renovations with our Headquaters
Raise R 2000 to pay for paint, paint brushes and other equipment we might need.
Plan & Execute a few fundraisers
Gain 100 more followers on our instagram page
Ensure the Newsletters are published on time
