29 Aug | Day 1 : Srinagar to Kargil ( 202 Kms )
Arrival at Srinagar airport and drive to Kargil, the route will take you
through Sonmarg which is famous for its high altitude meadows and
oversees Thawajas Glacier. After a quick photo stop continue with the
journey to Zoji La Pass at 3528 meters. We will also cross Drass village at
3300 meters which has the distention being the coldest inhabited place in
India and temperature usually goes down to -33 and below in winters.
Continue with the drive to Kargil Town.
Overnight stay at Hotel in Kargil.

30 Aug | Day 2 : Kargil to Leh ( 216 Kms )

After breakfast drive to Leh, enroute visit the Monastery at Lamayuru
which is one of the oldest in Ladakh. After visit continue with the drive to
Leh. Enroute also stop at Nimu for a Photo-stop and at Sangam view point.

31 Aug | Day 3 : In Leh

Today you permits for onward journey will be issued, day tour includes
visit to Shanti Stupa, Leh Fort & Leh market.

01 Aug | Day 4 : Leh to Nubra Via Khardung La ( 126 km )

After breakfast drive to Nubra valley via Khardung la Pass ( 5359 meters )
continue with drive and reach the start of Nubra Valley. Shyok river flows
through there, continue with drive to Nubra valley evening visit the sand
dunes at Hunder.
Overnight at Nubra valley.

Note – In Nubra electricity is turned off at 2230 Hrs in the evening as this
is Solar Powered.

02 Aug | Day 5 : IN NUBRA VALLEY
Full Day in Nubra Valley, Visit Diskit Monastery and explore the Monastery
and the surroundings. Also visit the Statue of Maitriya Buddha at the
Monastery .
Overnight at Hotel.

03 Aug | Day 6 : NUBRA - PANGONG ( 160 Kms )

After breakfast, we drive to Pangong Lake which is a salt water lake at
4225 Meters in the higher reached of Ladakh, the lake changes colour
every few hours and the best time for photography is in Morning &
evening when the lake is at its best . The road to Pangong is full of
contrasts crossing through narrow valleys, river sides and wide open
plains. Reach Pangong in mid day and spend some time by the lake.
Overnight at Pangong.

Note – In Pangong Mobile signal is not available / Electricity is available

from 1800 Hrs to 2200 Hrs in the evening / Hot water is available only in
morning as it is heated with solar power. ( Hot water is also available on
request from the Kitchen )

04 Aug | Day 7 : PANGONG TO LEH

Leisurely drive to Leh, enroute cross Changla Pass (17688 Feet ), you can
also visit Chemry Gompa enroute to Leh.
Evening free for leisure in Leh.
Overnight at Leh Hotel.

05 Aug| Day 8 – DEPARTURE

Morning check out from hotel and transfer to airport to board departure
flight.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any
avoidable/ unavoidable reasons we must be informed in
written. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date
we receive mail in written and cancellation charges would be as
follows:
• Once the booking is confirmed – 25% of the tour/service cost.
• 15 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
• 07 days prior to arrival – 75% of the tour/service cost.
• Less than 72 hours or no show – NO REFUNDS

• In case on any amendment in local Government taxes, or any fuel hike, we reserve the right to increase the tour price
accordingly.
• In Trans Himalayan regions and due to unforeseen circumstances like rain, landslides etc, and the itinerary may have
to be changed at last minute. In case there are any last minute changes due to operational problems, there are no
refunds or compensation associated with it.
• At times due to road blockage or landslide we may to alter the itinerary at the last moment or the day of journey also.
In such a case any extra running of vehicle or expenses incurred in operating the changed tour, extra cost would have to
be paid by the guest.
• During a high altitude travel all places would be more than 2500m high . Kindly keep your guest informed regarding
the same and please request them to come properly equipped with appropriate clothing / medicine and if possible to
get themselves properly checked by a Qualified Physician before coming on a High Altitude tour or any tour of this type.
• We advise that the Indian nationals carry some identity proof along with him / her during his / her tour like driving
license or voter I card or passport which required to show at Army check posts while traveling from one place to other
(in rare cases Army check posts may ask for an identity proof). Foreign nationals should also have all travel documents in
original
• It’s recommended for guests to consult his / her doctor and have a thorough medical checkup before commencing on
a high altitude trip.
• The mentioned drive time may vary in case of traffic jams, road blocks etc.
• In case of any changes in itinerary or stays on account of natural calamities, flight cancellation, ill health, road blocks or
factors beyond our control, all extra costs will be borne by clients only.
• Suggest you to please inform clients to respect and follow local customs and traditions.
• The rate provided does not include any travel insurance, damages, claims etc in case of any possible occurring and mis-
happenings.
• Planet Way Round and its associates (guides/ reps/ drivers/ transporters/ hotels) will not be liable to pay any kind of
compensation arising because of any kind of illness, mishaps, accidents or other unavoidable factors during the trip or
any adventure sports (River rafting, paragliding, skiing, high altitude travelling, trekking etc.)
