Character education is considered veryimportant to instill in
elementaryschool age children because character education is an
educational process aimed at developing values,attitudes and
behavior that ex ude noble morals or noble character.
Everyhuman
being has the potential for good character before he is born,but
this potential must be continuouslyfostered through socialization
and education of children from an earlyage.Character is a
person' s moral and mental qualities whose formation is influenced
byinnate factors (fitrah- natural)and the environment
(socialization or education-
natural).Teachers can be inspirations
and role models who can change the character of their students
into humans who recognize their potential and character as God' s
and social creatures.
