Dear Datu Pax Ali,

Over the previous months, there has been an ongoing pandemic brought by the COVID-19
which affected the lives of almost all people; causing restrictions to our daily lives. Among these
is the restriction to go outside which ceased the traditional physical classes inside the school.
This brought difficulty for us students due to the new learning modalities: offline, blended, or
online learning.
Considering the situation of the students, availing internet access may be too much of a burden
especially to those that are affected financially yet again by the pandemic. Even if we were to
say that there were other learning modalities aside from online learning, we cannot deny the fact
that those with internet access are put at an advantage with resources accessible through the
internet.
As a youth organization which gives importance to intellectual liberty, Marcelo H. del Pilar
Chapter launches its project called Handog ni Marcelo: Standing Unswervingly for The
Public Schools. This project aims to give internet access to students through mobile loads that
will be provided through the gathered donations.
