Marketing Optimization Module 1 (Burrito Game) Exercise (10 Points)

You must do it alone (it is not a group activity)

This is going to be a different type of exercise than what you have normally done in this
class. You are going to play the Burrito optimization game! I hope you have some fun and
learn along the way.

The game has plenty of instructions built in but if you want to read more, visit the home

1. Play Round 1, Days 1-5 and then Round 2, Days1-5. As you play each round keep
notes of what you find hard/easy etc.
a. Take a screenshot of at the end of round 2 when you see “GAME OVER”
summary and attach it in your exercise solution. (2 points)
b. Now write a short report (2-3 paragraphs, maximum 1-page), what you
about what you liked/disliked, what you found difficult, what you found
easy as you played the game and what you learned through the process of
playing this game (4 points)
2. Now let’s have some competition among the class members! Play the game in
championship mode (1 round 5 days). Use the following code for the
Championship Mode game: BAN5763_SPR24. Make sure your username
clearly reflects who you are. At the end of the game, again take a screenshot of
your GAME OVER summary and turn that in as part of your exercise solution.
Your results will be compared with others in the class and if you finish in the top
10%, you will get 4 points, finish in top-20% and you get 3.7 points, finish in top-
30% 3.4 points and the rest as 3.1 points (4 points)

Deliverables:
As you complete the exercise, create a short report in Microsoft Word and in this
report answer the questions in the exercise description. Copy and paste supporting
documents/diagrams/screenshots as needed to justify your answer. Make sure you
print your name, section number, student ID# on the report and turn-in the report
as communicated by your instructor.
