Superstition: the belief that particular events bring good or bad luck
Luck: good thing that happens to you by chance, not because of your own efforts or abilities
Ritual: a series of action that are always performed in the same way, especially as part of a religious
ceremony
Fortune-teller: a person who claims to have magic powers and tells people what will happen to them in
the future
Amulet: a piece of jewelry that some people wear because they think it protects them from bad luck, evil
