PROGRAM TITLE: 2022 SFFI National Conference: Theme: Philippine Sustainable Forest Management Roadmap (PSFMR): Key to National Recovery
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This Conference shall be a three (3) day learning event that is a collaboration between the SFFI and the DENR-Forest Management Bureau
Themed: The Philippine Sustainable Forest Management Roadmap: Key to National Recovery, this activity is expected to gather more than 2,000 participants composed of Registered
Professional Foresters, and forestry-related professionals. The major output will be the proposed Philippine Sustainable Forest Management Roadmap or PSFMR which is a long-term
plan aimed at tapping regional forestry advantages based on biophysical attributes with the end goal of optimizing forestry for ecological conservation and economic recovery.
Said Roadmap shall cover forest production requirements in all the 17 regions of the country, formulated within the context of forest protection and conservation.

REMARKS: The Conference likewise included showing of audio-video productions on forests and forestry, private sector projects on forestry and the
environment, and networking interactions between and among participants that may have led to potential partnerships on programs and projects. On top of these, the
Preparation of the Roadmap took several meetings between the SFFI and the FMB, together with PFEN, PWPA, Senior Foresters, etc.
