On Thursday, October 12th, 2023 at approximately 12am RA Megan
Marshall was walking to the water fountain on the first floor of Balsam
when RA Marshall saw Bruce Banner (920*******) hitting an exit sign
with a green Hydroflask. RA Marshall asked Banner to stop. Banner did
not see RA Marshall initially and turned around when asked to stop.
Banner was immidietly apologetic and asked RA Marshall not to call the
police. RA Marshall explained that Residential Living policy would be to
file a police report. Banner was upset by this and walked away. RA
Marshall did not follow them, but asked them to wait for the campus
police (UPD) to arrive. Banner did not wait and continued walking
towards the stairs. RA Marshall called UPD and they arrived at
approximately 12:23am. Officer Hooper arrived and a police report was
filed. Officer Hooper went to Banner’s room (BA-254) but Banner was
not there. The incident concluded at approximately 12:35am.
