1. What is animation? Animation is the creation of simulated movement by using a


series of still images.

Multimedia researchers generally define multimedia as the combination of texts and
pictures, suggest that multimedia MultiMedia learning occurs when we built mental
representation from those word and pictures. The world can be spoken or written, and the
pictures can be any form of graphical imagery including illustration, photo, animation, or
video.

Animation is very often encountered in advertisements, games, TV, media
outlets, etc. In fact, the entertainment business is also actively embracing
animation technologies as a significant method of creating good quality
content. From web series to science fiction, cartoons, and movies, animation is
used widely.

d) Shading, Lighting, Rendering
Shading add colors and textures to object.
Lighting is used to add illumination and shadow to senses
Rendering combines computer information from the modeling, animation,
shading and lighting to create the final ok mages.
