REVELATIONS Part 3.

(Chapter 14:1 - 22-21

REVELATIONS Chapter 14

The Lamb With 144,000

[Revelations 7:4]

Revelations 14:1 Then I looked and saw more.

The Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with

him were 144,000 who had his name and his
father’s name written on their foreheads.

2 And I heard a sound from heaven like the sound

of rushing waters and like the rumbling of mighty
thunder.

The sound I heard seemed like the music of

harpists accompanying themselves on their
instruments.

3 The 144,000 people gathered in front of the

throne with the four living creatures, and the elders;
they were singing a new song, which only they
could learn.

Of the entire human race, they are the only ones

who have been redeemed from earth.

4 These are ones who did not defile themselves by

idolatrous relations with women, for they are
spiritual virgins.
These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever
He goes.

They are who have been ransomed (purchased,

redeemed) from among men as a first fruits to GOD
and for the Lamb.

5 No falsehood can justifiably be charged against

them for they are innocent.

Three Angels and Babylon’s Fall

6 And I saw another angel flying through the center

of the heavens, having the eternal gospel, to
preach to those who sit upon the earth and over
every nation and tribe and tongue and people.

7 He cried with a mighty voice, Revere YHWH and

give Him glory, honor, and praise in worship, for the
hour of his judgment has arrived.

Fall down before him; pay him homage and

adoration and worship him who created heaven
and earth, the sea, and the fountains of water.

8 Then another angel, a second one followed,

declaring,

Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!

She who made all nations drink of the intoxicating

wine of her passionate idolatry, thus angering
GOD. (Isa. 21:9.)
9 Finally, a third angel came and declared loudly:

Here is what will happen if one worships the beast

and the idol and have the mark of the beast on their
hand or on their forehead.

10 They too shall have to drink the wine of GOD's

indignation and wrath, poured undiluted from the
cup of His anger; and they will be tormented with
fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy
angels and in the presence of the Lamb. (Gen.
19:24.)

11 Everyone who worships the beast and the idol

and accepts the mark of its name, will be tormented
day and night.

The smoke from their torment will go up forever

and ever and never will there be any rest from it.

12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of

the saints and those who obey GOD's
commandments, all who remain faithful to Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying,

"Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the

Lord from now on.

Yes, for the Spirit says; they are blessed indeed,

for they will rest from all their trials and hardships;
for their good deeds follow them!"
A Harvest on the Earth

14 I looked and saw a bright cloud, and someone

who seemed to be the Son of Man was sitting on
the cloud. He wore a gold crown on his head and
held a sharp sickle in his hand.

15 Then an angel came out of the temple and

shouted, "Start cutting with your sickle!

Harvest season is here, and all the crops on earth

are ripe." 16 The one on the cloud swung his sickle
and the earth was pruned. 17 Then, another angel
with a sharp sickle came out of the temple in
heaven.

18 After this, an angel with power over fire came

from the altar and shouted to the angel who had
the sickle.

He said, "All grapes on earth are ripe! Harvest them

with your sharp sickle."

19 The angel swung his sickle on earth and cut off

its grapes.

He threw them into a pit where they were trampled

on.

It was a sign of God's anger.

20 The pit was outside the city, and when the
grapes were trampled upon, blood flowed out.

The blood turned into a river that was about two

hundred miles long and almost deep enough to
cover a horse.

REVELATIONS Chapter 15

[Deuteronomy 32:1–47]

Revelations 15:1 After that, I saw another wonder

in heaven. It was great and amazing.

The seven angels were returning from bringing

their seven plagues, the last plagues, because after
these, GOD's anger was abated.

2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with

fire.

And those who had gotten the victory over the

beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and
over the number of his name, stand on the sea of
glass, having the harps of GOD.

3 And they sang the song of Moses, the servant of

GOD and the song of the Lamb, saying, Mighty and
marvelous are Your works, O YHWH god the
omnipotent!
Righteous (just) and true are Your ways, O
Sovereign of the ages, King of the saints! (Exod.
15:1; Ps. 145:17.)

4 All people will revere you, O YHWH. All people

will praise your name.

Only you are holy.

All people will come and worship before you,

because it is clear that you do what is right."

Bowls in Preparation for Judgment

5 After these things I looked, and I saw that the

doors to the sanctuary of the temple containing the
words of GOD's promise was open in heaven.

6 And the seven angels who were bringing the

terrible troubles were coming out of it.

They were dressed in robes of pure white linen and

wore belts made of pure gold

7 One of the four living creatures had given each of

the seven angels a bowl made of gold. These
bowls were filled with the anger of GOD who lives
eternally.

8 The temple quickly filled with smoke from the

glory and power of GOD.
No one had been able to enter it until the seven
angels had finished pouring out the seven last
troubles.

REVELATIONS Chapter 16

Seven Bowls of Divine Wrath

Revelation 16:1 Then I heard a mighty voice from

the temple sanctuary saying to the seven angels,
Go and pour upon the earth the seven bowls of
GOD's wrath and indignation. (Ps. 69:24; Isa.
66:6.)

The First Six Bowls of GOD’S Wrath

So the first angel left the Temple and poured out

his bowl over the earth, and horrible, malignant
sores broke out on those who had the mark of the
beast and who worshiped his image.

3 The second angel emptied his bowl into the sea.

Right away the sea became bloody like with that of
a dead person, and all sea life died.

4 And the third angel poured out his bowl upon the
rivers and the fountains of waters. And they were
made bloody.

5 Then I heard the angel who had power over the

waters say to GOD, "You are the one who is and
who always was.
You are the Holy One.

You are right in these judgments you have made.

6 Because they have spilled the blood of your

saints and the prophets, you have given them
blood to drink.

Such is their due for they are deserving of it! (Ps.

79:3.)

7 And from the altar I heard the cry; Yes, YHWH

GOD the All-powerful, your judgments (sentences,
decisions) are true and just and righteous! (Ps.
119:137.)

8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the

sun, and it was allowed to afflict people with its fiery
heat.

9 And men who were scorched with great heat,

blasphemed the name of GOD, who has power
over these plagues; but they did not repent and
give him glory.

10 The fifth angel emptied his bowl on the seat of

power the beast had.

At once darkness covered its kingdom, and its

people began biting their tongues in pain.

11 They cursed the God of heaven because of their

pain and the wounds they had. But they refused to
change their hearts and turn away from the evil
things they did.

12 Then the sixth angel emptied his bowl on the

mighty river Euphrates, and its water was dried up
to facilitate making a road for the coming of the
kings from the rising sun. (Isa. 11:15, 16.)

13 An evil spirit that looked like a frog came out of

the mouth of the Serpent.

One also came out of the mouth of the beast, and

another out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 They are actually the spirits of demons that

perform great signs (wonders, miracles).

And they go forth to the rulers and leaders all over

the world, to gather them together for war on the
great day of GOD the Almighty.

15 "Take note of what was said before; I will come

as unexpectedly as a thief!

Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep
their robes ready, so they will not need to walk
naked and ashamed."

16 And they gathered all the rulers and their armies

to a place called in Hebrew; ‘Har-Magedon’
(Armageddon).

The Seventh Bowl of GOD’s Wrath

17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl in
the air, whereupon a loud voice came from the
throne in the temple, saying, "It is done!"

18 There were flashes of lightning, roars of

thunder, and the worst earthquake in all history.

19 The great city of Babylon was split into three

parts, and the cities of other nations fell.

So, GOD made Babylon drink from a cup that was

filled with the wine of his anger.

20 And Every island disappeared, and there were

no more mountains.

21 And great excessively oppressive hailstones, as

heavy as a talent (between fifty and sixty pounds),
of immense size, fell from the sky on the people;
and men blasphemed GOD for the plague of that
hail, so very great was the torment from that
plague. (Exod. 9:23)

REVELATIONS Chapter 17

The Woman Riding the Beast

Revelations 17:1 One of the seven angels who had

poured out the seven bowls came and spoke to
me.
The angel said, "Come, and I will show you the
punishment that will be given to the famous
prostitute, the one sitting on many waters.

2 Every king on earth has slept with her, and her

brazen ways are like an intoxicating wine that has
made everyone on earth drunk."

3 Then he carried me away in spirit to a deserted

place where I saw a woman seated on a scarlet-
colored beast.

It was covered all over with names insulting GOD

and had seven heads and ten horns.

4 The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet and

bedecked with gold, precious stones, and pearls,
and in her hand, she held a cup full of obscene and
filthy things, the results of her immorality. (Jer.
51:7.)

BABYLON the GREAT, a Mystery Woman

5 And on her forehead, there was inscribed a name

of mystery (with a secret symbolic meaning):
“Babylon the Great”, mother of prostitutes
(idolatresses) and of the filth and atrocities and
abominations on the earth”.

6 And I saw that the woman was drunk with the

blood of GOD's saints and the blood of those who
were killed because they were loyal to Jesus.
When I saw her, I was completely astonished.

7 The angel asked me, "Why are you so surprised?

I will tell you the mystery of the woman and the

beast with the seven heads and the ten horns that
she rides on.

The Mystery Explained

8 The beast you saw was alive but is not now. And
yet he will soon come up out of the bottomless pit
and go to eternal destruction.

And the people who belong to this world, whose

names were not written in the Book of Life from the
founding of this world, will be amazed at the
reappearance of this beast who had died.

9 Understanding this, calls for a mind that is

packed with wisdom and intelligence for a particular
mode of thinking and judging of thoughts, feelings,
and purposes.

The seven heads are seven hills upon which the

woman is sitting;

10 Five of the heads are dead. One is ruling now,

and the other one has not yet come. But when he
does, he will rule for only a little while.

11 The beast that was once alive but is no longer

living is an eighth ruler.
This eighth ruler also belongs to the first seven
rulers. And he will go away to be destroyed.

12 The ten horns that you saw are ten more kings,
who have not yet come into power, and they will
rule with the beast for only a short time.

13 All ten of these rulers are of one mind and have

the same purpose.

And they will owe their power and authority to the

beast.

The Victory for the Lamb

14 They will wage war against the Lamb, and the

Lamb will be victorious over them; for he is Lord of
lords and King of kings--and those with him and on
his side are chosen and called (elected) by GOD
and who are loyal and faithful followers. (Dan.
2:44.)

15 The many waters that you saw the prostitute

sitting above are crowds of people from all races
and languages.

16 And the ten horns that you saw, they and the
beast will be the very ones to hate the prostitute
(the idolatrous woman); they will take all she has
and make her cheerless (bereaved, desolate),
stripping her and exposing her nakedness.
And her flesh will be consumed, and her body
destroyed as if by fire.

17 For GOD has put a plan into their minds, a plan

that will carry out his purposes.

They will mutually agree to give their authority to

the scarlet beast, and so the words of GOD will be
fulfilled.

18 And the woman that you saw is herself the great

city which dominates and controls the rulers and
the leaders of the earth.

REVELATIONS Chapter 18

Babylon the Great has Fallen

[Isaiah 21:8–10]

Revelations 18:1 After all this I saw another angel

come down from heaven with great authority, and
the earth grew bright with his splendor.

2 And he cried out with a strong voice, saying:

Babylon the great is fallen, she has fallen; she who
became the habitation of demons and unclean
spirits and a nest for filthy buzzards, and a den for
dreadful beasts.

3 Babylon's evil and immoral wine has made all

nations of the world drunk.
Every king on earth has slept with her, and every
merchant on earth has enriched himself because of
her evil ways."

4 I then heard another voice from heaven saying,

come out from her, my people, so that you may not
share in her sins, or participate in her plagues. (Isa.
48:20; Jer. 50:8,9.)

5 For her sins have piled up as high as heaven,

and GOD remembers her wicked ways.

6 He will do to her what she has done and give her

twice as much as she gave.

Serving her a drink in her own cup twice as large

as the drink she served others.

7 To the degree that she glorified herself and

reveled in her extravagance, living deliciously and
luxuriously, to that degree he will impose on her
torment and anguish and tears and mourning.

Since in her heart Babylon boasts, I am not a

widow.

As a queen on a throne, I sit.

I shall never see suffering or experience sorrow

(Isa. 47:7- 10)

8 Because of this, in one day she will be struck with

plagues, disease, grief, and famine.
And she will be consumed with fire because the
LORD god, who judges her, is mighty."

Wailing over Babylon

9 And the rulers and leaders of the earth who

joined her in her immorality (idolatry) and luxuriated
with her will weep and beat their breasts and
lament over her when they see the smoke from the
flames that consume her. (Ezek. 26:16, 17)

10 Standing afar off for fear of her torment, they

cry, Woe!

Woe to the great city, Babylon, that strong city!

For in one hour your judgment came.

11 The merchants of the world will weep and

mourn for her, for there is no one left in her to buy
their goods.

12 There will not be anyone to buy their gold, silver,

jewels, pearls, fine linen, purple cloth, silk, scarlet
cloth, sweet-smelling wood, fancy carvings of ivory
and wood, as well as things made of bronze, iron,
or marble.

13 No one to buy their cinnamon, spices, incense,

myrrh, frankincense, wine, olive oil, fine flour,
wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, chariots, slaves, and
other humans.
14 The merchants say to her, "All the good things
you longed to own have disappeared, and all your
wealth and glamor are gone, and you will never find
them again!"

15 The merchants, who became rich from doing

business in that city, will stand a long way off,
because they are afraid of sharing in her suffering.

They will cry and mourn, 16 saying; Alas, alas, that

great city, that was clothed in fine linen and purple
and scarlet and decked with gold and precious
stones and pearls!

17 And in one single moment all the wealth of the

city is gone!"

And all the shipowners and captains of the

merchant ships and their crews will stand away and
watch from a distance together with everyone who
does business by traveling the seas.

18 And when they all saw the smoke rise from her
burning.

They cried out; 'There was never a city like this

great city!'

19 They cried loudly, and in their sorrow, they

threw dust on their heads, as they said, "Pity the
great city of Babylon!
Everyone who sailed the seas became rich from
her treasures.

But in a single hour the city was destroyed.

20 Exult and revel over her, O heavens, O saints O

apostles and prophets, because GOD has
executed vengeance for you upon her! (Isa. 44:23;
Jer. 51:48.)

Babylon the Great Doomed

21 Then a powerful angel picked up a large

boulder.

It was as big as a large millstone.

The angel threw the boulder into the sea and said,
"That is how the great city of Babylon will be thrown
down never to be found again.

22 Never again will the sound of music be heard

there, no more harps, songs,
flutes, or trumpets.

There will be no industry of any kind, and no more

milling of grain.

23 and the light of a lamp will shine in you no more,

and the voice of bridegroom and bride will be heard
in you no more, for your merchants were the great
ones of the earth, and all nations were deceived by
your sorcery.

24 Babylon was punished because in her was

found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all
those who have been killed (slaughtered) on earth.
(Jer. 51:49.)

REVELATIONS Chapter 19

Rejoicing in Heaven

Revelation 19:1 After this I heard what sounded like

a mighty shout of a great throng in heaven,
exclaiming, Hallelujah (Praise YHWH)! Salvation,
glory, splendor, majesty and power and
sovereignty) belong to our god!

2 His judgments are true and fair. He has

condemned the notorious prostitute who corrupted
the world with her depravity.

He has taken revenge on her for the blood of his

servants."

3 And again the throng in heaven shouted,

b
Hallelujah (praise YHWH)!

The smoke of her burning shall continue to ascend

forever and ever, through the eternities of the
eternities. (Isa. 34:10.)
4 Then the twenty-four elders and the four living
creatures fell prostrate and worshiped (paid
respectful, divine honors to) GOD, who sits on the
throne, saying, Amen!

Hallelujah (Praise YHWH)!

5 Then from the throne there came a voice, saying,

Praise our god, all you servants of His, you who a
fear Him, both small and great!

6 Then I heard what sounded like a crowd, like the

sound of a roaring waterfall, like loud peals of
thunder.

I heard them say, "Praise GOD!

For the LORD, our Almighty god, is King!

7 Let us rejoice and be happy and give GOD glory!

Give GOD glory, because the wedding of the Lamb

has come.

And the Lamb's bride has made herself ready.

8 She has been permitted to dress in fine, radiant

white linen, for the fine linen signifies (represents)
the righteousness and godly living, good deeds,
and right standing with GOD, of the saints

9 Then the angel told me, to put this in writing;

“GOD will bless everyone who is invited to the
wedding feast of the Lamb."
The angel also said, "These things that GOD has
said are true."

10 Then I, John, bowed down before the angel's

feet to worship him.

But the angel said to me, "Don't worship me!

I am a servant like you and your brothers and

sisters, who have the truth of Jesus.
So, worship GOD!

Because the truth of Jesus is the essence of

prophecy."

The Rider on the White Horse

11 After that I saw heaven open up, and behold, a

white horse appeared!

The One Who was riding it is called Faithful and

True (trustworthy, loyal, incorruptible, and steady),
and He passes judgment and wages war in
righteousness. (Ezek. 1:1.)

12 He had eyes like flames of fire, and he was

wearing a lot of diadems.

He had a name written on him, but he was the only

one who knew what that name meant.

13 The rider wore a robe that was covered with

blood, and he was known as "The Logos of GOD."
14 A heavenly army was following the rider on the
white horse.

They were also riding white horses and were

dressed in fine white linen.

15 A sharp sword came out of the rider’s mouth.

It is the sword that he will use to defeat the nations.

And he will rule the nations with a rod of iron.

He will crush them like grapes in the winepress of

the terrible anger of GOD Almighty.

16 On the part of the robe that covered his thigh

was written, "King of kings and Lord of lords."

Defeat of the Beast and False Prophet

17 I then saw an angel standing on the sun, and he

shouted to all the birds flying in the sky, "Come and
join in GOD's great feast!

18 You can eat the flesh of all humanity, both free

and slave, both small and great!

19 I also saw the beast and all kings of the world

come together.

They fought against the rider on the white horse

and against his army.
20 But the beast was captured and so was the
false prophet.

This is the same prophet who had worked miracles

for the beast, so that he could fool everyone who
had the mark of the beast and worshiped his idol.

The beast and the false prophet were thrown alive

into a lake of burning sulfur.

21 And the rest of their army was killed by the

sword that came from the mouth of the rider on the
horse.

Then the birds stuffed themselves on the dead

bodies of those who had the mark of the beast and
worshipped it.

FOOTNOTES for Chapter NINETEEN:

a
fear = reverence, veneration and
appropriate respect owed to GOD

b
Hallelujah = literally; “praise YHWH, you
people”

c
Logos of God, often translated; ‘Word ‘of
God in many Bibles. Logos is more correctly
seen as the ‘Logic’ or mind of GOD’. Also
applied figuratively to Christ in his heavenly
existence.
REVELATIONs Chapter 20

Satan Bound for a Thousand Years

Revelations 20:1 Then, I saw another angel

descending from heaven; he was holding the key to
the Abyss (the bottomless pit) and a great chain
was in his hand.

2 And he laid hold and overpowered the dragon,

that old serpent of primeval times, who is the devil
and Satan, and securely bound him for a thousand
years.

3 Then the angel threw the dragon into the pit. He

locked and sealed it, so that a thousand years
would go by before the dragon could fool the
nations again.

But after that, it would have to be set free for a little

while.

4 I saw thrones, and sitting on those thrones were

the ones who had been given the right to judge.

I also saw the souls of the people who had their

heads cut off because they had told about Jesus
and preached GOD's message.

They were the same ones who had not worshipped

the beast or the idol, and they had refused to let its
mark be put on their hands or foreheads.
They will come to life and rule with Christ for a
thousand years.

5 This is the afirst resurrection. (The rest of the

dead did not come back to everlasting life until the
thousand years had ended.)

6 Blessed and holy is the one having part in the

first resurrection.

The bsecond death has no authority over these, but

they will be priests of GOD and of his Christ and
will reign with our Lord for the thousand years.

After a thousand Years, Satan Cast into the

Lake of Fire

7 And when the thousand years shall be finished,

Satan shall be released out of his prison in the
abyss to go forth and seduce peoples who are
scattered over the four corners of the earth,
deceiving the nations from every corner of the
earth, which are called cGog and Magog.

He will gather those who comprise a large army of

people as numberless as sand along the shore,
together for battle. 9 and they will march across the
earth.

They will surround the camp of GOD's people and

the city that his people love.

But fire will come down from heaven and destroy

the whole army
10 Then the devil who fooled them will be thrown
into the lake of fire and burning sulfur.

He will be there with the beast and the false

prophet, and they will be in torment day and night
forever and ever.

Judgment before the Great White Throne.

11 I saw a great white throne with someone sitting

on it.

Earth and heaven tried to run away from judging,

but there was no place for them to go.

12 I also saw all the dead people standing in front

of that throne.

Every one of them was there, no matter who they

had once been.

Several books were opened, and then the book of

life was opened.

The dead were judged by what those books said

they had done.

13 The sea gave up the dead people who were in

it, and death and its kingdom also gave up their
dead.

Then everyone was judged by what they did after

being resurrected.
14 Then death and Hades (the state of death or
disembodied existence) were thrown into the d lake
of fire.

This is the bsecond death, the lake of fire.

15 Anyone whose name was not written in the book

of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

REVELATIONS Chapter 21
The Inevitable Finality

Revelation 21:1 Then, I saw a new a heaven and a

new bearth, for the former heaven and the former
earth had passed away (vanished), and the c sea
no longer existed. (Isa. 65:17; 66:22)

2 Then I saw d New Jerusalem, that holy city,

coming down from GOD in heaven.

It was like a bride dressed in her wedding gown

and ready to meet her husband.

3 I heard a loud voice from the throne.

It said, "Now GOD's home is with people.

He will live with them.

They will be his people. GOD himself will be with

them and He will be their god. (Ezek. 37:27.)

4 GOD will wipe away every tear from their eyes;

and death shall be no more, neither shall there be
anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain
any more. For the old conditions and the former
order of things have passed away. (Isa. 25:8;
35:10.)

5 Then the one sitting on the throne said: I am

making everything new.

Write down what I have said.

My words are true and can be trusted.

6 Everything is finished!

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning, and the

end.

I will freely give water from the life-giving fountain

to everyone who is thirsty.

7 All who gain the victory will be given these

blessings.

I will be their god, and they will be my people.

8 But I will tell you what will happen to the cowards

and the ignoble and the contemptible and the
cravenly, those lacking in courage and the
cowardly submissive.

And as for the unbelieving and faithless, and as for

the depraved and those defiled with abominations,
and as for murderers and the lewd and adulterous
and the practicers of magic arts and the idolaters
(those who give supreme devotion to anyone or
anything other than GOD) and all liars (those who
knowingly convey untruth by word or deed).

All of these shall have their part in the lake that

blazes with fire and brimstone.

This is the second death. (Isa. 30:33.)

9 I saw one of the seven angels, those who had the
bowls filled with the seven last terrible plagues.
That angel came to me and said, "Come on!

I will show you who will be the bride and wife of the
Lamb."

The New Jerusalem

10 Then with the help of Holy Spirit, he took me to

the top of a remarkably high mountain.

There he showed me the holy city of Jerusalem

coming down from GOD in heaven.

11 The glory of GOD made the city bright.

It was dazzling and crystal clear like a precious

jasper stone.

12 It had a massive and high wall with twelve large

gates, and at the gates there were stationed twelve
angels, and on the gates the names of the twelve
tribes of the children of Israel were written: (Exod.
28:21; Ezek. 48:30-35.)

13 Three of these gates were on the east, three

were on the north, three more were on the south,
and the other three were on the west.

14 The city was built on twelve foundation stones.

On each of them was written the name of one of

the Lamb's twelve apostles.
15 The angel who spoke to me had a gold
measuring rod, with which to measure the city and
its gates and its walls.

16 The city was shaped like a cube, because it was

just as high as it was wide.

When the angel measured the city, it was about

fifteen hundred miles high and fifteen hundred
miles wide.

17 Then he measured the wall, and by our

measurements it was about two hundred sixteen
feet high.

18 The wall was built of jasper, and the city was

made of pure gold, clear as crystal.

19 Each of the twelve foundation stones was a

precious gem.

The first was jasper, the second was sapphire, the

third was agate, the fourth was emerald, 20 the fifth
was onyx, the sixth was carnelian, the seventh was
chrysolite, the eighth was beryl, the ninth was
topaz, the tenth was chrysoprase, the eleventh was
jacinth, and the twelfth was amethyst.

21 Each of the twelve gates was solid pearl.

The streets of the city were made of pure gold,

clear as crystal.
22 However, I did not see a temple there. For
YHWH God Almighty and the Lamb were its
temple.

23 And the city did not need either the sun or the
moon, for the glory of GOD was shining on it, and
the Lamb was its light.

The nations shall walk by its light and the rulers

and leaders of the earth shall bring into it their
glory.

24 All peoples will walk by the light of that city, the

rulers and leaders on the earth will bring their
assets there.

25 Its gates are always open during the day, and

night never comes.

26 The glorious treasures of nations will be brought

into the city.

27 Nothing unclean, no one who does anything

detestable, and no deceivers will ever enter it.

Only those whose names are written in the lamb's

Book of Life will be allowed to dwell in it.

REVELATIONS Chapter 22

Conclusion of John’s Revelations from Jesus

Revelations 22:1 Then the angel showed me the

river whose waters give life, sparkling like crystal,
flowing out from the thrones of GOD and of the
Lamb.

2 It flowed down the middle of the city's main street.

On each side of the river are trees that grow a
different kind of fruit each month of the year.

The fruit of these trees give life, and the leaves are
used as medicine to heal the human family.

3 GOD's curses will no longer be on people in that

city.
He and the Lamb will be seated there on their
thrones, and its people will worship GOD, 4 and
they will see him face to face. (as he is), for GOD's
name will be written on the foreheads of the people
who live there.

5 And there will be no night (darkness) there, so

they need no lamp, or light of the sun; for YHWH
God gives them light.

And YHWH and his Lamb will reign forever and

ever.

6 And he (of the seven angels) further said to me,

these statements are reliable, worthy of confidence
and true.

And YHWH, the God of the spirits of the prophets,

has sent his messenger (angel) to make known
and exhibit to his servants what must soon come to
pass.

Jesus Coming Soon

7 Remember, I, Jesus am coming soon!

GOD will bless everyone who pays attention to the
message of this book.

8 My name is John, and I am the one who heard

and saw these things in a vision given by GOD.

And after I had heard and seen all this, I kneeled

down and began to worship at the feet of the angel
who had shown me.

9 But the angel said, don’t do that!

I am a servant, just like you.

I am the same as a follower or a prophet or anyone

else who obeys what is written in this book.

YHWH is the only one you should worship.

10 And he further told me;

Do not seal up the words of the prophecy in this

book.

Make no secret of them, for the time when things

are being brought to a crisis and the period of their
fulfillment is imminent.

11 Let the one who is doing wrong continue to do

wrong; the one who is vile, continue to be vile; the
one who is good, continue to do good; and the one
who is holy, continue in holiness."
12 "See, I am coming soon, and my recompense is
with me, to repay all according to what they are
deserving of.

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last,

the beginning and the end.

14 GOD will bless everyone who has washed their

robes.

They will each have the right to eat fruit from the
tree that gives life, and they can enter the gates of
the city.

15 But, excluded from that are all those who live

like dogs, those who do evil magic, those who sin
sexually, those who murder, those who worship
idols, and those who love to lie, and only pretend to
be good.

16 I am Jesus!

And I am the one who sent my angel to tell all of

you these things for the ecclesiae.

I am David's Great Descendant, and I am also the

bright morning star.

17 Holy Spirit and the bride (the ecclesiae) say,

Come!

And let him who is listening say, Come!

And let everyone come who is thirsty (who is
painfully conscious of his need of those things by
which the soul is refreshed, supported, and
strengthened); and whoever earnestly desires to do
it, let him come and drink the water of Life which is
free for the taking. (Isa. 55:1.)

Nothing May Be Added to or Removed from

Prophetic Words in this book.

18 I, John, solemnly warn everyone who hears the

prophetic words of this book:
if anyone adds anything to the prophetic words I
received, GOD will add to their punishment with the
plagues described in this book.

19 And if anyone cancels or takes away from the

statements of the book of this prophecy (these
predictions relating to Christ's kingdom and its
speedy triumph, together with the consolations and
admonitions or warnings pertaining to them),

God will cancel and take away from him his share
in the tree of life and in the city of holiness which
are described and promised in this book.

20 Jesus, himself is the one who says that all of

this is true.

Now he says, "Yes, I am coming soon."

So, I say, Amen!

Come, Lord Jesus!

21 And I pray; The grace (blessing and favor) of the
Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with all the
saints (God's holy people, those set apart for GOD,
to be, as it were, exclusively His).

Amen (so let it be)!
