different times have been manipulated by the
regulations then

Working Schedule
▪ Mid Sep – Form groups of 5 or 6 members
▪ End Sep – Select the criteria to be adopted for the
choice of the site
▪ By 3 Oct – Obtain Teaching Lead’s endorsement of
the choice of the site with the address and photos
of the development, by e-mail
▪ Oct 23 (5:30pm) – Submit presentation to Moodle
▪ Oct 26 & 31; Nov 2 & 7 – Group Presentations

Presentation 10% (individual) & 12% (group)

1. Aim for clarity and smooth flow of presentation for
audiences’ understanding (story-telling skills), not aesthetics
2. Demonstrate your understanding of the 3 aspects of the
control system that generate the planning of the chosen
development
3. Highlight the key design approaches/ solutions with regards
to the regulations
4. Analyze whether the regulations adopted genuinely fulfill the
needs of the users of the buildings at the time Occupation
Permit was obtained
5. Slide size: Standard (4:3)
6. No. of slides: Max. 20/24 slides
7. Presentation time: Max. 20/24 minutes/group
8. Each member has to present and enjoy the same
presentation time

1. Each of the 3 aspects of control system should be
investigated and presented by not more than
three members
2. Free-rider must be prohibited (should you have
difficulties contributing, please alert your
members in advance for necessary coordination)
3. A clear introduction, and a concise conclusion are
