@Qwm “Ee SE SS Fo +26 05 September 2017 Dear Members 18" WaterNet Annual General Meeting: Swakopmund, Namibia ‘The WaterNet Secretariat kindly requests each member institution to nominate one representative to attend the 18! WaterNet Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held in Swakopmund, Namibia starting at 1700hrs on 26th October 2017. ‘The deadline for receiving nominations is 20 September 2017 so as to ensure that travel is arranged ‘well in advance. Please note that there are important decisions to be made at the 18" AGM and hence a representative familiar with the network and who can articulate the position of the institution will be preferred. The nominee will also be expected to attend the symposium running from 25" - 27" of ‘October 2017. Please note the following details: Annual Membership Report: ‘The nominated representative has to ensure that the Annual Report for their institution has been submitted as this will be discussed and presented at the AGM. Membership Subscription fee: The nominated representative has to ensure that the institution has paid the 2017 Membership Subscription fee as well as any outstanding subscriptions and proof of payment has been forwarded to the WaterNet secretariat before 20 September 2017 Please note that submission of the Membership Report and Payment of the 2017 subscription is a pre-requisite for sponsorship. WaterNet will cover the following costs: Registration fees for the symposium and return air ticket (economy class). The Local Organising Committee will be responsible for: Teas, lunches, one opening day cocktail and one symposium dinner on the last day.Member institutions will pay the following: Members are expected to pay for their nominated representatives accommodation and daily subsistence allowances to cover costs of meals and incidental expenses not mentioned above. Transfers within home country (e.g taxi fares to the airport) and any other costs e.g Visa application as well as Transfers from the airport in Namibia to the symposium venue.
