Davao, July 20. —

Admiral Kichi-
saburo Nomura, former Japanese
minister of foreign affairs, is ar
riving here on
Monday morning
on tne s.s. Hat pan Maru in, the
course of an unofficial trip to the
Japanese Mandated Islands and
the Netherlands Indies.
Nomura, who is making the trip
in his capacity as chairman of
the Pacific Association, is accom-

penied by Kiyoshi Kanai and Sa-

damas Hanada, directors of the
same association. Courtesies of

Marcelo Mendoza.

day for Borneo and Celebes, but

comed the Diet members. Fol
lowing official calls on Governor
Buenaventura Rodriguez, Mayor
Vicente Rama, ajnd the provin
cial fiscal, the visitors went on

a sightseeing motor trip around

the city and
neighboring towns.
A luncheon was given for the
legisla'ors this noon by the Jap
anese
community. Members of
the mission are Kiyoshi Jkeda.
Shigeru Tshizaka, Torarosuke O-
fcata, Xiichi Noguchi. Hitomi To_
da, and Yoshioml Takahaihi.
They are leaving tomorrow for
Davao, where they will join Ad
