Dear Parents,

We would like to share with you the school calendar for the month of February. For your
guidance, we are including a brief description of each activity.

1. Arts Month. CSPS takes pride in participating in the nationwide celebration of National Arts
Month. This event aims to underscore the transformative power of the arts, enhancing the
lives of Filipinos and serving as a beacon of hope.

2. 3rd Long Test. Students will undergo comprehensive assessments to allow teachers to gauge
the progress made since the last test and to help students recognize their learning
achievements.
 3. Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday signals the start of the Season of Lent, a period of penance,
reflection, and fasting leading up to Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday. We encourage all
families to participate by receiving ashes on their foreheads during the church service and
attending Mass.

4. Foundation Week. At CSPS, the much-anticipated event of the year is our annual
Foundation Day celebration. Students, parents, and teachers come together to enjoy moments
of fun, camaraderie, and unity through various programs and games. To adhere to safety
measures, the activities are spread throughout the entire week, ensuring an organized flow of
activities and regulating the number of people in specific areas.

5. Feast of Chair of St. Peter. Balibago will be celebrating the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter.
There will be no classes for students on this occasion.

The calendar gives you a glimpse of the activities for the month. Kindly take note of those
that directly involve you and your child. We hope this information will strengthen our shared
commitment in ensuring quality education for your children.
