As the midterm exams for the second semester were quickly approaching.

The PICE -UASC

officers held a two-day event last March 31 - April 1, 2023 with the theme "sPICE it up: Restoring Unity
among PICE-UASC Members through Sports and Socialization."

This aims to give the students an opportunity to interact with their fellow PICE-UASC members, unwind
from their school works, and enjoy themselves while also showcasing their skills and talents.

Students took part in and played in a variety of ball games on the first day of the event,
including basketball and volleyball (men and women). Meanwhile, in the afternoon, each
section's chosen contestants—seven in the tower-building competition and four in the quiz bowl—
display their knowledge, wit, and aptitude for problem-solving and coming up with potential solutions.
The event's Talents Night, which takes place in the evening, is the most eagerly anticipated
segment. Each section competes by showcasing their exceptional talents and bringing their confidence
in order to win the award.

The championship games, an open chess tournament for CE students, and the math trail are
all held on the second day of the event.

Finally, the most awaited part of the event: Alumni night. PICE-UASC President, Mr. Ram Jeffer
Orquejo, welcomed all students and alumni with his opening remarks, which were followed by
an inspirational message from Engr. Cheryl Salvan, President of the PICE Antique Chapter.

"Socialize through sports and involve yourself in community extensions, as it is important in your growth
as a student and helps you when it comes to critical thinking and moral reasoning," Engr. Salvan said
during her speech.

"Do not forget to enjoy and do not forget to mingle with your manong and manang," she added.

The winners of the various competitions have been awarded and acknowledged. Also, all of the graduati
ng students have received some sort of recognition.

The CEA band's disco marked the event's finale.
