I am Bilal Younis

WHY THIS BOOK?

5 years back, I was addicted to my desires for the longest time


ever. It was a horrifying time but at the same time, I became the
best version of myself in order to beat this addiction. I realized
that it was my lifestyle that exposed me to
Pornography/Masturbation in the first place and including the
fact that I was using it as a coping mechanism to tackle the
traumas I went through.

To guide others to do the same, I started off with an Islamic


page to advice others to quit their pornography/masturbation
addiction. But I realized just free content on Instagram won’t
help people to quit their addictions. As High level of
accountability and community is needed to break free from this
addiction and in order to create an ultimate lifestyle change.

I then started as an actual life coach and directly impacted


people’s lives. When my client became a paramedic in our
coaching program, who got rid of this addiction for over 9
months, I thought wow, this indeed is a life-changing program. I
have transformed over 900 people's lives so far.

I know how it feels to have this addiction and not have


someone on your side to support you. It is mentally draining.
I created this guide to give you the step-by-step on quitting
Pornography/masturbation addiction after how I made it out of
a 9-year addiction while having the experience of coaching
almost 1000 people. You too can quit this addiction and live
your best life.

STEP 1
What is a
Lifestyle Change?
A lifestyle change is where you already have the necessary means
of positive habits to tackle stress, and become productive
and disciplined.

For you to relapse, you will come across 3 stages.

Stage 1: The barrier stage, for example, you didn’t lower your gaze.

Stage 2: Since you didn’t lower your gaze, now your


temptations increased.

Stage 3: You relapsed.

Lifestyle habits will help you ensure that you have the ultimate
lifestyle so that that you don’t reach the barrier stage.

Lifestyle habits will help you ensure that you have
the ultimate lifestyle so that that you don’t reach
the barrier stage.

For example, Exercising helps you to build


discipline, focus, and transmute sexual energy to
prevent the barrier stage
Journaling allows you to have control over your
day and your triggers to make sure you don't
reach the barrier stage.

Why do you need to create such lifestyle habits?

What lifestyle habits to form?

- Ask yourself the right questions:

What habits will help you the most?


Are you struggling with stress?
Are you unable to sleep?
Do you struggle to focus on a task?
Are you unable to lower your gaze?

Then apply the lifestyle habits accordingly


to your situation

Sunnah or Lifestyle habits?


Choose the habits:

✔️Focusing on a lifestyle habit first as you may have


difficulties following the Sunnah at first, at least in the
beginning of your journey.

✔️You can always make changes later onwards on


your journey and apply the Sunnah as you keep
advancing.

✔️Focusing on the habits that you can stick to for the


long term and apply them permanently.

How to manipulate
the environment?
We must use the perfect
environment to ensure our
urges don’t hit stage 1.

The perfect environment would be:

✔️Sleeping on time
✔️Keeping all devices away
✔️Using Stress relieving methods
✔️Ensuring triggers are zero

Remember: Whatever you see is whatever


you do. If you don’t have easy access to it,
you can’t do it.
STEP 4

Following the Sunnah


Sunnah will allow us to use the
perfect solution prescribed by our
Prophet Muhammad SAW (peace
be upon him)

Start with a Sunnah:

✔️Fasting once a week


✔️Praying in Congregation

Then eventually:

✔️Getting married
✔️Pleasing Allah SWT

Quitting takes consistency

Accountability and community make you:

✔️Creates enough consistency to create a


lifestyle change
✔️Open up to feel better
✔️Learn from other’s mistakes
✔️Feel at home and share your personal value
✔️Seek continuous advice from others
✔️Ensure you are recovered

Remember: Quitting your addiction requires a high


level of accountability, or else you will end up with
the same habits you had before with this addiction.
Also, having a community ensures that you continue
to feel like you are heard and seek advice.

Reminder: Use End-goals that you think works best for


your case. you need short-term goals to motivate
yourself to achieve bigger goals. Once you
accomplished bigger goals, reward yourself to achieve
more goals.
