What is the Loop?

site, keeping you informed about news and events
across your Belfast Trust and
within your Directorate.

What is the Loop?
The Loop will allow every service in the Trust to:
Quickly develop their own page(s)
Find out about other services
Offer feedback on topical issues
Post news stories, events and videos
Build document libraries
Connect with staff
Check job vacancies
Link with unions
 The Loop has been designed to be simple to navigate
for both organisational and directorate level information.

Please remember you will need to be on the Trust network to access the Hub. & Guides page.
You can find the Loop on any desktop in the Trust or on your remote desktop.

or hit the home button on your Internet Browser. ​
You can also access
the Loop on your Trust mobile

If you access the Trust's M365 services on your

personal Trust device you will be able to access
the Loop by clicking on the app.

Open a web browsing app on your mobile device.

Type in bhsct.sharepoint.com

1. You will be prompted to log-in to your Trust M365

account with your email & password
2. You will need to have your Multi-factor
authentication / One-time code access set up for
accessing your M365 account
3. Once you are successfully logged in the Loop will
open

If you stay logged in to Belfast Trust SharePoint on your

own device, you will have easy access to the Loop
whenever you want.

You can also add any Loop page links to the bookmarks
on the browser of your own device.

This is where you will

You can navigate back

to the homepage by
clicking the Loop in
the navigation bar.
 Digital Apps
This is where you will
find information for all
your digital systems –
you have quick links,
for Digital Support
Services, referral
forms and a few
popular apps.​

 Directorates
This is where you will
find information about
the Directorates,
Divisions and Teams
within the Trust.
 We are working to provide access for all staff as quickly as possible.
Staff who do not have a personal account can access the Loop on any generic shared PC through the browser.​

If you do not have a M365 account you will still be able to access
the Hub on your desktop as normal or on a shared generic PC.​

We are working in partnership with Microsoft to ensure

all staff have access to personal accounts and services as soon as possible.

How can I get a news story
featured on the Loop?

Click on Trust News

Then click on:

Submit a Loop News Story

Complete the simple form to submit

a Loop news story.
News items should always be accompanied by an image(s) or graphic(s) unless you cannot provide this. All news
items need an image or graphic before being published so you will need to leave time for this to be created if you
cannot provide it yourself.

Please note that Corporate Communications maintains a schedule for news items weeks in advance, so please
ensure you provide adequate notice. News items can be added to the schedule at short notice in some
circumstances. However, we cannot guarantee that news items submitted at short notice will be published.

How does my service area get
a section or page on the Loop?

for advice or help to get started.

All services will soon have an

opportunity to get content about their area of work
on the Loop.

Can I access training for the Loop?

Pre-recorded training webinars will be available to staff and help guides are in the support section on the Loop,
which is located on the right hand ribbon of the homepage.

We're not saying Goodbye to the Hub just yet!

You can still use this link to access the Hub homepage - http://intranet.belfasttrust.local/

The layout of the Hub remains the same as before which allows you to access the resources you need
through the usual navigation menus or search function.
Please note this will be a historical read-only version with no new information being published.

It is a good idea to add any Hub pages you frequently visit to the bookmarks
in your browser for quick and easy access.
