Teacher's Activity Students' Activity

A. Motivation
(The Teacher will let the
students watch a Youtube Music
Video Pertaining to the The different
phases of the Water Cycle)

So, base on the video, I would

like you to sing some of your favorite
part from it.
(students sing various parts)

“And they call it the Water Cycle.”

So, our topic for today is the?

Water cycle, Sir.

Yes it is. So this is the place

we live in, our planet, Earth. 75% of
the earth’s surface is filled with water
and 25% is covered with land.
Therefore, Water covers a wider area
of the Earth’s surface than land.

Do you think the amount of

water on earth decrease since its
existence? Answers may vary

Who says no, and yes? Why Because the amount of water on Earth does
no? not change it remains the same.

To see the process of the

stages of water cycle with your naked
eye, please bring out the materials I
told you to bring.

(Materials are Clear glass

bottle, hot water, plate and a cold
water)

We will make our own water

cycle.

(Experiment proper)

What did you observe? When we pour the hot water in the glass
bottle it fogged the glass-bottle then when we
covered it with plate onto the the glass-bottle
lid when we put some cold water on the plate
water at the bottom of the plate started to
sprout. Then the water from the bottom of the
plate started dropping and go back again to
the rest of the water remaining in the glass
bottle.

Okay, we will find out why the

phenomena happened with our
lesson for today which is all about the
water cycle.

B. Presentation
Now, base from the video
again, please state the four stages of Yes, Teacher.

So, evaporation is from water to gas.

Condensation - condensation
is from gas to liquid. As the water

air/atmosphere, it cools and Evaporation, condensation, precipitation and

that water changes from gas to liquid.

when there is too much accumulation
or collection of water in the clouds,
the clouds became heavy.

Yes, you are right. And there

different types of precipitation which
will be covered in our next lesson.
In condensation, can we say that the gas
turns into tiny water droplets?
Do we know now where does
rain come from?

Great, so we can already

proceed to the last phase of Water
Cycle which is the Collection.
Precipitation.
Collection - This happens
