Our site design strategically incorporates porosity through various entry/
exit zones and movement corridors, notably evident at a specific entry
point surrounding the public art installation zone. Serving as a compelling
attraction, this area leads visitors beneath the extended library structure.
Here, the principle of porosity unfolds seamlessly, providing an accessible
and fluid pathway that enhances the overall experience. Visitors can
effortlessly move between the alluring public art and the extended library,
fostering a dynamic and interconnected space. This porous access not
only prioritizes movement but also encourages exploration and
engagement, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the convergence
of art and literature. The intentional design promotes a harmonious
environment that stimulates curiosity, interaction, and a sense of
interconnectedness among those exploring the site.

incompleteness

Residential Community Parks

In our functional planning for the urban design, the incorporation of
community residential parks as elements of incompleteness could prove
transformative. These dynamic spaces inviting residents to actively
shape their public and private domains, acting as incomplete canvases
for personalization. This intentional incompleteness could empower
residents, fostering a sense of ownership and encouraging diverse
community initiatives. The adaptable nature of these parks creates
opportunities for residents to contribute to their evolution, resulting in a
living environment that reflected the unique character and aspirations of
the community. From communal gatherings to individual relaxation, these
parks can become vibrant hubs, embodying the collaborative spirit and
individual preferences of their residents.

In the urban design for the

business promotion district, a
transformative seed planning
approach involves introducing a
retail corridor as a mixed-use
function with transit housing. By
strategically placing small-scale
general retail stores, we aim to
kickstart organic growth, boosting
commerce and community
engagement. These modest
establishments act as seeds,
fostering economic development
and gradually generating
increased activity and income.
This intentional approach
contributes to the district's
evolution into a dynamic, self-
sustaining urban ecosystem,
cultivating a vibrant and thriving
landscape that seamlessly
integrates commerce with transit
housing.

Pedestrian Corridor SITE

In this urban design intervention for the business promotion district, the inclusion of small pergola canopies

and green canopies along the main street pedestrian corridor serve dual purposes: enhancing the visual

allure and fostering seamless movement patterns. These meticulously designed elements not only provide

much-needed shade but also create an inviting atmosphere that encourages a fluid flow of pedestrians.

The incorporation of resting spaces along the adjacent bicycle track adds another layer of accessibility,

allowing individuals to pause, interact, and engage in various activities. This strategic placement ensures

that the corridor becomes a hub for diverse visitors, attracting an influx of people for a mix of commercial,

business, and leisure pursuits.

The seamless movement patterns, coupled with the allure of the resting spaces, transform the corridor into a

dynamic urban space. This bustling environment becomes a focal point for the district, drawing in visitors

who contribute to the vibrancy of the area. As people effortlessly navigate through the corridor, the well-

positioned amenities and greenery facilitate a harmonious flow, establishing the district as a thriving

destination for a multitude of activities.
