Hyperthermia can be reduced through the tepid
sponge as an effort to prevent seizures. The purpose
of the study was to determine the effectiveness of
tepid sponge to reduce the incidence of recurrent
seizures in hyperthermic children. The method of
case study researchers by exploring the problem of
hyperthermia in febrile seizure children with the
implementation of tepid sponge using a nursing care
approach.
Conclusion that the application of tepid sponge can
prevent the recurrence of febrile seizures in children.
Seizure management with the application of tepid
sponge can be used as part of nursing care in
hypothermic children
