Initial Problem Statement:

In the changing world of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), there are
persistent challenges that hinder their growth and sustainability. These challenges include access
to credit high interest rates and a lack of financial knowledge. SMEs play a role in development,
but they face difficulties in obtaining affordable financing and acquiring the necessary financial
know how. The current financial system does not adequately support SMEs, which limits their
potential for innovation and economic contribution. This research aims to explore the landscape
for SMEs and find innovative solutions to address barriers in accessing financing and improving
financial literacy. By understanding the intricacies of SMEs financial struggles this study seeks
to provide insights and recommendations for policymakers, financial institutions, and business
support organizations. The goal is to create an environment that nurtures the growth of medium
enterprises while promoting inclusivity and resilience, in the business ecosystem.
