O People of Felicity

‫ازوا‬ َ‫ف‬ ِ ِ ‫م‬ٍ‫سعد قَـو‬

ُ ْ ََْ َ
ُ‫َوَﱂْ ﻳَـ َﺮْوا ِﰲ اﻟ َْوَرى ِس َواﻩ‬
O how felicitous are a people who attained Allah.
And saw nothing in existence but Him!

‫اﻫ ْﻢ‬ ِ
ُ َ‫اﺟﺘَـﺒ‬
ْ ‫قَـ ﱠﺮﺑَـ ُﻬ ْﻢ ﻣ ْﻨﻪُ َو‬
ُ‫فَـﻨَـ ﱠﺰُﻫوا اﻟ ِْﻔ ْﻜ َﺮ ِﰲ ُﻋ َﻼﻩ‬
He drew them near to Him and chose them.
So, their minds declared Him to be free from every imperfection!

ُ ‫ﺴ َوى اﻻﻟْﺘِ َﻔ‬

‫ات‬ ِ ِ‫ﻟَﻴﺲ َﳍﻢ ﻟﻠ‬
ّ ُْ َ ْ
ُ‫اﻫ ُدوا َسﻨَاﻩ‬
َ ‫ﻒ َوقَ ْد َﺷ‬
َ ‫َﻛ ْﻴ‬
They have no inclination to other than Him.
How could that be when they have witnessed His exaltedness!

‫َﲡَﻠﱠى ِ ﻟﻨﱡوِر َواﻟَْﺒـ َﻬ ِاء‬

‫َﳍُ ْﻢ فَـ َﻘاﻟُوا َ ُﻫ َو َ ُﻫو‬
He manifested light and splendor to them,
so they said "Oh He Who is!"

 ‫ب‬‫ال أَ َ ﻟَ ُﻜ ْﻢ ُِﳏ ﱞ‬ َ ‫فَـ َﻘ‬
ِْ ‫ب َﻛ ِﺮﱘٌ ﻧِ ْع َﻢ‬
ُ‫اﻹﻟَﻪ‬ ‫َر ﱞ‬
So He said to them, "I am your lover!"
A generous Lord! Wonderful God!

ِ ‫أَقْـﺒل ﻣن َ ب ِﻣن ِﻋﺒ‬

‫ادي‬ َ ْ َ ََُْ
ُ‫َوَﻻ أُ َ ِﱄ ِﲟَا َﺟﻨَاﻩ‬
I accept those of My slaves who repent.
And I don’t care what they have done!

ِ ‫ْﻚ ﻣﻠ‬
‫ْﻜﻲ َو ْاﻷَ ْﻣ ُﺮ أ َْﻣ ِﺮي‬ ُ ُ ‫اَﻟ ُْﻤﻠ‬
ِ ِ
ُ‫َواﻟ ِْع ﱡﺰ ﻋ ِّﺰي فَا ْد ُﺧ ْل ﲪَاﻩ‬
The Kingdom is Mine, the Command is Mine
Might is Mine! -- So enter His sanctuary!

‫َﻣا َذا َق ﻃَ ْع َﻢ اﻟْﻐَ َﺮ ِام إِﱠﻻ‬

ُ‫ﺻ َل أ َْو َد َراﻩ‬
ْ ‫ف اﻟ َْو‬
َ ‫َﻣ ْن َﻋ َﺮ‬
None knows the taste of passion,
except Those who know union!

‫ي ِﺣِّﱯ‬ ِ ‫ْﺖ ﻟِ ْﻠ َﻘﻠ‬

‫ْب أَ ﱡ‬ ُ ‫َﻣا قُـﻠ‬
ِ‫ﻀ‬ َ َ‫إِﱠﻻ َوق‬
ُ‫ﲑ ﷲ‬ُ ‫ال اﻟ ﱠ‬
‫ﻤ‬
Never did I say to my heart, "Who is my beloved?"
Except it said, "Allah"

 ‫ت َرِّﰊ‬ ُ ‫إِِّﱐ إِذَا َﻣا ذَ َﻛ ْﺮ‬
ُ‫أ َْﻫﺘَـ ﱡﺰ َﺷ ْوقًا إِ َﱃ ﻟَِﻘاﻩ‬
Whenever I remember my Lord,
I tremble in longing to meet Him!

ِ ِ‫أ َِﻫﻴﻢ وﺣ ِدي ﺑ‬

‫ﺼ ْد ِق َو ْﺟ ِدي‬ َْ ُ
ُ‫ﺼ ِدي َﻋ َﺴى أ ََراﻩ‬ْ َ‫َو ُﺣ ْﺴ ُن ق‬
I roam alone in my true ecstasy;
my beautiful endeavor is that I may see Him!

‫فَاﻧْظُْﺮ إِ َﱃ اﻟْ َﻜ ْو ِن ِ ْﻋﺘِﺒَا ِر‬

ُ‫ض َﻣ ْوَﻻ َك َو َﲰَاﻩ‬ ِ ‫ِﰲ أ َْر‬
So look at the universe with reflection,
On the earth and heaven of Your Lord

‫ﺖ اﻟ َْﻤﺜَ ِاﱐ‬ ِ ‫اﲰَ ْﻊ إِ َذا ﻏَﻨﱠ‬

ْ ‫َو‬
ُ‫ﻚ ﷲ‬ َ ‫ول َ ُﻫو ﻟَﺒﱠـ ْﻴ‬ ُ ‫تَـ ُﻘ‬
And listen when praises of Him are sung,
Say He who is! At your service, Allah!
