About Wadhwani Foundation

Wadhwani Foundation is a not-for-profit with the primary
mission of accelerating economic development by driving
job creation through large - scale initiatives in
entrepreneurship, small business growth, innovation, and
skilling. Founded in 2000 by Silicon Valley entrepreneur
Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, today, the Foundation is scaling

ABOUT THE START-UP CONCLAVE 2024

MET Institute of PGDM, in collaboration with
the Wadhwani Foundation, is organizing the
First Startup Conclave in Mumbai on February
20, 2024. This conclave aims to empower
startups for further growth, specifically targeting
those who have successfully commercialized
their products and are generating revenue. The
Startup Conclave stands out as a unique and
exclusive gathering, providing a platform for
meaningful discussions and collaborations
among policymakers, investors, and founders
of India's leading startups. The event
encompasses Knowledge Sessions, an Industry Connect Platform, and a Product Showcase. With
a nationwide focus, the conclave aims to attract startups from all regions of India, inviting industry
professionals from various sectors to engage directly with the program and interact with startups.
During the Knowledge Sessions, distinguished speakers from diverse backgrounds will share their
entrepreneurial journeys. Each session includes a Q&A segment, offering startups valuable
insights from the speakers' experiences. The Industry Connect Platform facilitates direct
interactions between startups and industry professionals whose needs align with the startups'
offerings. This engagement takes place on the event day. A highlight of the conclave is the Startup
Competition, where commercialized products undergo scrutiny and have direct conversations
with invited industry personnel. This competition serves as a unique opportunity for startups to
showcase their achievements and establish connections with key players in their respective
industries.

PITCH is open to all start-ups qualifying below criteria
1. Registered with startup India
2. Possesses Udyog Aadhaar Registration Certificate

All applications are recorded and passed on to an independent panel of influential judges for
assessment.
Prepare for battle
The top 50 start-ups will prepare their deck and delivery to battle it out onstage at Start-up
Conclave This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Time to pitch
Present in front of a panel of investors and global partners for the chance to be crowned the
winner of PITCH.
