Q2D. Selective breeding improves crops by choosing plants with desired traits.
To increase grain size, plants with big grains are bred for generations. And every
generation the plants with the biggest grains each time is selected and the
inter proses starts again.

1. Isolation of Som - The first step is to isolate somatic cells from the individual
that will be cloned. These cells contain the complete genetic information of the
organism.
2. Donor Egg Preparation-an egg cell is needed. The nucleus of the egg cell is
removed to create an enucleated egg.
3. Nuclear Transfer: - The nucleus of a somatic cell is then transferred into the
enucleated egg.

6. Gestation and Birth- The mother carries the cloned embryo and after a
period gives birth to the cloned mammal.
Q5B (ii) A cloned dog may not behave exactly like its mother due to the
influence of environment he grows in the way he learns things learning.
Cloning mins that the offspring is only doing to have the same genotypes and
phenotypes like the parent but nowhere it specifies that he will behave the
same as parent diou to the factors listed above.
