Thank you for accessing this half terms homework project.

The Key Objectives that you will be covering this half term are:

KO1 – Rules and regulations of your sports


KO3 – Components of Fitness related to your sport
KO6 – Performing core skills in isolation with accuracy and control
KO8 - Demonstrate different levels of fitness required in sports.

All work will need to be submitted online for your class teacher to review by
Friday 2nd February.

KO1 – Rules and regulations of your sports

All organised sports have rules that ensure participants play correctly, safely, and fairly.
The rules are decided and regulated by the sport’s governing body. National governing
bodies affiliate to international federations, which ensure the rules are applied across the
world. Depending on the sport, the rules may be known as:

 rules – e.g.,Handball/Gymnastics/basketball/Badminton
 regulations – e.g., motor sports
 laws – e.g., rugby union

For this task you will need to research the rules and regulations of the two sports that you
are doing in PE this term.
