INTRODUCTION
Depex is pleased and would like to thank for the opportunity to submit a proposal for the design of B2C
E-commerce website. Working together, we believe that we can create a site that will meet the needs.
This proposal describes the technology, services, terms, and schedule for the web site of this project.

A web application will be developed in Magento 2.0 with and MYSQL (MySQL, MYSQLI,
SQL Light, and Oracle) database. Technical approach for designing complete will be n-tier
application with layered architecture. The application will be developed with one of the
Magento 2.0 framework.

Site must be built in accordance to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0,
provided by the W3C and should also be easily accessible to the novice as well as
the experienced Internet user.
Fast Loading Pages – The web site must be designed with a balance of text and
graphics such that each page loads in 2 seconds or less on the average computer.

PROJECT PHASES
DEPEX Team has already done a significant amount of preparatory work and planning. As soon as we
receive the "Your Company" Approval, we are able to start working immediately. Phase one is where we
will start from the research, content analysis & Design of your website for structuring the Website.
PHASE 1 STEPS:
1) Outlining content: Begin to group things into categories and decide which contents should go on the
Website.
2) Develop navigation: Create preliminary navigation for the Website based on the content we have
gathered. We will create your business Logo and Home page designs
4) Website wireframes: Build computer-sketched wireframes of all main pages of the website as well as
the Admin.
DELIVERABLES
• At least three sets of wireframes Designs (Mockups) will be shared with you. You choose any one which
ever looks best to you
MILESTONE
Phase one will be done with a milestone - wireframe. "Your Company" team will be presented with the
deliverables and a summary based on our findings of which you will have to review closely, request
changes or ask questions and eventually sign off with a Website approval (On email or Skype). Once you
sign off with your final approval on the Designs of website & Admin, no more refinement will be done. &
we proceed to the next phase – Phase II.

PHASE 2: BUILD
This is where we start building the Website. Once the framework of the Website is completed and
Website approved by "Your Company", the next step is to focus on the initial setup of the Website
platform, start coding the pages, and build database for user accounts.
PHASE 2 STEPS:
1) 2nd-round user testing: UX testing helps us find out how people interact with this Website, and what
works for them and what doesn’t. We will gather about 10 people for the second round of user testing
using the Website mockup we have developed.
2) Setup file and directory hierarchy: Setup a temporary directory in our own server while building the
Website.
3) Create WEBSITE pages: Start coding HTML/CSS/JS of all pages based on the Website approved
design mockup.
5) Web Admin implementation: Build We will start building the web Admin interface for your website in
this step
6) Implementing backend scripting: Build database for users accounts, making sure the payment
method is working.
7) Prototype / Beta Website: Phase two will end with a beta Website on our servers.
DELIVERABLE
MILESTONE
Phase two will be done with a milestone - a beta Website. "Your Company" team will be presented with
the deliverables and a summary based on our findings of which you will have to review closely, request
changes or ask questions and eventually sign off with an Approval (Email or Skype). We move over to
next phase – Phase III.

At this phase, we will complete the entire web pages development and programming. This is the part
where we make sure that the Website is fully functional, bug-free and the payment system is working and
secured. After final Approval by "Your Company", the Website is ready to be launched.
PHASE 3 STEPS:
1. 3rd-round user testing: We will have about 10 team members for the third round of user testing
using the beta Website we have built.
2. Debugging: Make sure the Website is bug-free after the user testing.
3. Key staff member training: Provide up to 5 hours of training to "Your Company’s two key staff
members.
4. Prepare announcement plan: DEPEX Team will work together with "Your Company" to prepare
announcement plan.
5. Develop maintenance plan: Come up with a maintenance plan for the Website in the long run.
6. Confirm Website security: Ensure that the Website is secured and it has a good protection
7. Website launch: After making sure that the Website is bug-free and working perfectly, "Your
Company" is ready to launch the Website to public.
DELIVERABLES
• The link to the Website (App) on our staging servers. Once you approve it and no more changes is
needed – We make it Live on your web servers.

the deliverables and a summary based on our findings of which you will have to review closely, request
changes or ask questions and eventually sign off with an Approval (on email or Skype). Once you sign off

Salient Features of our Engagement
Analysis is done at pre-sales level – We do a detailed analysis at pre-sales level to clearly define
following things:
(a) Cost and time-frame for the given scope of the project

1. Our estimates are based on the current understanding of the project. Any change in scope or
elaboration may change efforts and costs.
2. Client will provide all third parties APIs/web services which need to integrate with website

(a) We have estimated the project based on our present understanding of the project and discussion of
the scope with Company. Any additions to the scope of the project or elaboration may change efforts and
costs.
(b) Any additional document / information shared by the company can increase the scope of the project.
We may then have to revisit our estimates. Therefore, we request you to share as much information as
you can so that we understand the entire scope of the project.
(c) We assume Company will provide timely feedback. Any delay in feedback from the client may lead to
delay in proposed delivery schedule and may change efforts and costs.
(d) If the agreed upon costs are not paid fully the ownership and rights of the developed code and
application transfers to Depex Technologies Pvt Ltd
All Confidential Information disclosed under this Agreement shall be and remain the property of the
disclosing Party and nothing contained in this Agreement shall be construed as granting or conferring any
rights to such Confidential Information on the other Party. The Recipient shall honor any request from the
disclosing Party to promptly return or destroy all copies of Confidential Information disclosed under this
Agreement and all notes related to such Confidential Information. Depex Technologies works under the
contract “work made for hire” where all intellectual rights belong to our clients. We will deliver all source
code, engineering notes and diagrams to our clients
