Who do I contact if I have a problem?

Email us if you have any issue starting or completing your exam or cannot access your certificate after
completing the exam.

What browser should I use?


Browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Safari are best suited for the exam content. If you are using
MS Edge, make sure it is the later chromium version; earlier versions of Edge may experience issues.
Do NOT use Internet Explorer (IE); it is no longer supported and may not function properly.

My Name doesn’t appear correctly on the Certify My Identity screen.


The most likely cause is the user information is incorrect. Email us and we will update your
information. This will not prevent you from taking and passing the exam at this time. However, if you
do pass, your name may not appear correctly on your certificate.

The application crashed or the "Submit" button is grayed-out and I cannot proceed.
This is often caused by a brief loss in connectivity with the server at a critical moment. Many things
can cause this—a browser, a network, a firewall, or an ad blocker.
Students who have reported similar issues have had better luck after changing the browser (to
Chrome or Firefox) or location (from home instead of the office).
Unfortunately, you will not be able to resume where you left off and must begin a fresh attempt.

The application crashed. Did I lose one of my attempts?


No, your attempts are counted when you reach the end of the exam. If the application should crash
before that, the attempt will not be counted against you.

I tried to take my test again and received a notification that I must wait 24 hours.
As our instructors want students to review their study materials between attempts, there is a 24-hour
waiting period between attempts by design.

There are questions on the exam not covered in class.

I need to prepare for my exam, where do I start?
Milestone provides a variety of options for preparing for an exam.

eLearning (Online) courses.


You can enroll in courses individually or in several at once through Training Tracks.
The Deploying Single-server, Low-complexity XProtect SystemsTraining Track covers items
found in the MCIT exam. The Design Engineer Training Track covers items found in the MCDE
exam.

Classes (Live Courses)


You can see our live course offerings if you would like to enroll in a scheduled course.

I passed my exam, but it still says "in progress".


The course failed to register as complete. Email us and we will try to update your status.

I passed my exam but can’t download my Certificate.


Much like the previous issue, the course probably didn’t register as complete. Email us and we will try
to update your status.

My Name doesn’t appear correctly on my Certificate.
