As an activist, I imagine a world where there is peace and no harm

sexuly and flisicy. I have done research and found out that if you
love and take care of your kids, then your kids will be found to not
create violence and if you fight in front of your child and or
traumatize your child then when they grow up then they are more
likely to create violence. I’m doing this because I would like to raise
awareness.

It is my mission to try to help kids/adults/teens be safe and to

spread awareness and help stop violence. Helping stop violence will
not only make me feel better about the world it can help children,
adults and elderly, you! Help me to stop violence.

I am Connor Rogers, and I chose this issue because I don’t think it’s
good that people fight over money and resources. I think that
leaders should sit down and have trade conversations to make their
countries safer.
I think most wars are based on money and resources. Resources
make sense, but not so much the money. It would be nice if wars
could stop, but I understand that that’s difficult to make happen,
especially when humans have developed everything for war. What I
want to make people aware of is that in war, people lose family.
Often, leaders and citizens don’t think about how the people
fighting wars aren’t just pawns, but are real people.
I want to change this issue to make the world better for people who
are forced to fight in wars and for my mom, who brought this issue
to my attention.

My statement is to have the U.S. help Ukraine. The way that you can
do this is by doing a protest in an important spot in your town and
then getting more and more people until the mayor or whoever tells
the state rep who will tell the rest of the state reps. Then it might
catch on in other states than the u.s people. The reason we need to
do this is because the things happening in Ukraine are the worst a
human can do. Russia has committed war crimes in several ways
from killing civilians to bombing schools. They are a big deal. But
this needs to stop. The u.s is helping them a little bit but we can
help so much more if NATO helped them. Then Russia might stop
the war.
We need to help Ukraine or they will most likely die.

issue because I want to make a difference.

I want to help people who are underprivileged and/or need a

second chance in life. And I want to be a better person and make a
difference. Gang violence often impacts low income communities
and the economies of cities as a whole. This leaves cities with less
money to use to solve the problem of gang violence. The issue
usually impacts young males and their families.

Clean air, water, and food are essential for me as a child to grow
healthy. Growing with clean sources for living is a challenge due to
climate change. My fight for this is based on the fact that climate
change has the potential to have a significant impact on certain

CITIZEN ARTIST STATEMENT
I am Jackson Lubaroff, and I chose this issue, to bring attention to
not just animals, but Koalas too.
As a student, I see many things about life, and a lot of those things
are animals. Many others see animals, and think “Aww how cute!”
and my reaction is no different, so when it was brought to my
attention that Koalas, and many other animals were endangered, I
knew I had to notify at least a couple people who could help. As for
why I am doing this, it's really just a simple task of helping animals
that aren’t ourselfs, and just for mostly the greater good of society.
But I also realize, that not just the Koalas, but other animals can be
and are a crucial part of human life, and with us destroying the
environment, we might take them out. Which would inevitably lead
to a chain reaction of animals going extinct all coming back to us. So
I am trying to do this for all of us, for all of the people who care
about living, and keeping the world and all of its cute, amazing
animals safe.

I am Lorenzo Buzzola and i chose this issue because this is one of
the only current issues that is affecting not only humans, but all
form of life on earth. This means that it must be stopped
immediately.
I envision a future in which humans will take better care of the
earth, and that our methods of transportation and power generation
will not be harmful to the environment. This process will require
lots of hard work and money, for we will need to replace all ways of
transportation and power generation that uses fossil fuels, with
cleaner, less harmful ways. Stopping the use of fossil fuels will be
critical to accomplish this, since the burning of fossil fuels creates
85% of the earth's pollution. This will greatly benefit the earth and
all life in it. Climate change will be reversed and the quality of the air
that we breathe will be much better.
This is what I want my art’s message to be: If we don’t do something
about fossil fuels and climate change, that all life on earth will
perish.

My name is shea and my mission statement is to stop climate
change by using renewable energy. I chose this issue because it is
one of the biggest issues in the world today and we need to do
something about it.
I want to install solar panels on our roof to use renewable energy
instead of coal-powered appliances. I want to do this because I want
a safe and better place for humans and animals alike. Hopefully, in
the future, there will be only solar wind, and hydro power to power
the world because it will be safer. Humans have caused major
climate changes to happen already, and we have set in motion more
changes still. However, if we stopped emitting greenhouse gases
today, the rise in global temperatures would begin to flatten within
a few years. Also, Alternative methods to slow or reduce global
warming have been proposed that are, collectively, known as
"climate engineering" or "geoengineering." Some geoengineering
proposals involve cooling Earth's surface by injecting reflective
particles into the upper atmosphere to scatter and reflect sunlight
back to space.
The message I want my artwork to convey is to stop climate change.

I am Sloane Fetz, and I chose misogyny because I have been very
sensitive to this problem since I ever heard of it. When I was a lot
younger, I went to a women's march with my mom and held up a
sign saying “Fight Like a Girl #resist”.
I want to help women empower their feelings from men hurting
them physically and mentally. I want women to thank me after the
art as activism we do in this unit. Why do I want to do this? Well, I
would like to make men stop thinking that they are better than us
women are, I want to lead men to treat women right and not tell us
to go cook or clean. I want to do it for the women, to help them

Hi, my name is Vassar, and the reason that I chose the topic of climate change is because I feel
like it is the biggest problem in the world right now I feel like if climate change keeps going
then all the animals will eventually die after all they have no place to build their home and
then the earth will get too hot and then everybody will die.
To try and help this global disaster I want to start by making signs with an animal photo that
pulls people’s heartstrings and makes them want to help out with Climate Change by giving
money to climate websites.
I also think that I could post a few posters on somewhere like social media and people could
donate to the link that is posted on the social media post. This would help lots of people to
donate and it would hopefully raise a lot of money for climate change. I also think that every
little thing helps so when you buy snacks try to see if they are individually wrapped and buy
ones that are not individually wrapped and bike wherever you can use less energy so turn off
the lights you should also switch your light bulbs to LED light bulbs because they are better
for the environment.
I also think that one of the best things I can do to try and slow down/stop climate change is
to make an art piece to show what is happening to the world and what will happen if we do
not change anything. So make a scene that has animals struggling to survive on the very top of
mountains where there is no snow and down in the streets there are animals walking around
because they have no place to go and they are not doing so well probably in the Arctic with
almost no snow/ice and brown polar bears covered with mud and flowers blooming in the
background you can see grass.
The message that I want people to acknowledge when they look at my art piece is: ‘’that if we
do not stop climate change then the world will eventually crumble beneath our own hands
and we will have done nothing to stop it and make it go slower even though some people tried
so hard to try and slow it down and stop it. I also want it to spark people to try and make that
not happen and help to make their children/grandchildren have a good life trying not to have
to worry so much about climate change.
