I am writing to you for volunteering in the charity event that your organization is holding on the 5 th of
November. I heard about it from my colleague who saw the advertisement published in the New York
Times.

Let me explain in detail as to why I would be of considerable help. I am a freelance interior designer, a
member of a famous NGO. With a 5 year experience, and 250 projects completed successfully, I am a
known name in the field. Art has been my passion since birth, therefore I have learned painting and
sculpting. This interest of mine could be of use, if ever you need to attract more people to the function. I
would also do any tasks that would be assigned to me with eagerness, making me an eligible candidate
for the prestigious event.
