2. Full-Service Tunnel
Breakdown:
● Car Wash with a conveyor tunnel that offers both interior and exterior wash options.
● Larger staff presents then express tunnel locations, usually 4-6 people on staff.
● Cost of wash ranges from 15-35 per wash.
● Typically, no kiosk. Individual washing car gets out of the car during the process and pays inside.
● Usually something stated about cleaning the inside of a vehicle in wash descriptions.
o Example, interior vacuuming, wash down dashboard.

3. In-Bays
Breakdown:
● Frequently found at gas stations and self-service locations.
● No attendants at location.
● Kiosk used to pay for and activate the wash.
● Cost range usually 5-12 per wash.
● An In-bay location is usually the size of one to two vehicle lengths.
● Can see both touchless and automatic (with brushes) for types of In-bay locations.

● Bay where the driver pulls in and washes the vehicle themselves.

Breakdown:
● Location where staff on hand washes your car by hand.
● Usually located in a garage or parking lot
● No equipment touches the vehicle.
● Wash cost typically starts at $20 per wash.
● Hand wash tunnels do exist but are rare.
o Hand wash tunnels will not have brushes, just touchless pressure washing.

6. Detailing
Breakdown:
● Thorough cleaning of a car that typically includes both interior and exterior deep clean (detail).
● Detailing takes place in a garage/shop.
● Cost can range from $100-300 dollars.
● Detail services can take 2-4 hours per vehicle.
● Also, mobile detailing where business comes to you to clean vehicles.
