The Beginning

The night unfolded; the streetlights gradually lit up the streets. It was a normal night, as
normal as you could expect to have in hell. The streets around the Purr-fect Fortune Casino
became increasingly crowded and noisy as the minutes to the opening of the establishment
passed. The line on the sidewalk next to the entrance door already stretched for miles,
extending for several blocks. All kinds of demons and sinners were dressed in elegant
clothes, high heels, suits, and expensive items and accessories in general because Purr-Fect
Fortune was not just any place; it was the largest casino in hell, a luxurious venue. Everyone
eagerly awaited the moment when the grand infernal wooden doors with pure gold details
would open, marking the beginning of another night of gambling.

At exactly seven o'clock, a large black limousine parked in front of the casino's red carpet. A
corpulent and elegant demon hurried to open the vehicle's door, revealing first a pair of
yellow irises surrounded by black sclera. Slitted pupils roamed around as the audience began
to cheer enthusiastically. Husk smiled, feeling his ego being stroked, and stood outside the
car, adjusting his custom-tailored suit crafted by one of the finest tailors in hell. His wings
stretched gracefully as he ran his hand through his quiff, only to hear numerous sighs and
some screams of his name.

He loved being desired.

He loved being powerful.

He made his way towards the entrance, escorted by his personal demon guards, and opened
the doors of his casino, officially commencing another night.

The casino was large enough to accommodate the various sinful souls waiting outside. Seated
in his chair on the top floor, Husk could see his casino gradually filling up, making the place
increasingly noisy. A glass of a Sherry Oak Whiskey, 18 Years Old, was served to him, and
he savored the drink while his eyes swept across the noisy and eager crowd, ready to try their
luck, even though the likelihood of losing money was almost certain.

- Sir, Valentino is here to see you, Sir. - One of the corpulent guards said in a low tone as he
approached.

- Let him in. - Husk replied without taking his eyes off the crowd, sensing only the
movement behind him. Minutes later, the sound of footsteps became audible, accompanied
by the unpleasant scent of smoke and pheromones.

Valentino entered the room with a wide smile on his face, his habitual smoke in hand. - Good
evening, Husk, good to see you again. - He said maliciously, locking eyes with the feline.
After blowing out smoke, he settled on the sofa diagonally across from Husk, crossing his
legs and placing one hand on the backrest.

- Unfortunately I can't say the same, Valentino. - Husk murmured and snapped his fingers,
summoning a small imp to serve Valentino a glass of some random drink. Valentino accepted
it happily, unfazed by the acidic response.

- I see you're in a good mood today. - Valentino laughed. - I won't take much of your time; I
just came to fulfill my part of our bet. I brought you the Angel. - Then, the door through
which the moth had entered opened, revealing a tall and slender pink spider demon.

Angel Dust walked hesitantly to where the two overlords were and sat on the sofa across
from Valentino. - It's a pleasure to meet you, Husk, sir. - He said. For the first time, Husk
diverted his gaze from the crowd and took a good look at Angel, noticing that his smile didn't
reach his eyes.

Surprisingly for the feline demon, Angel was much more beautiful in person. Not that he was
used to watching it, or that he had ever watched any of his films. He was just curious and did
a little research, besides, Angel Dust was famous, there were posters and banners all over hell
emblazoned with his pretty, smiling face.

He was gorgeous, Husk didn't care to admit.

- It's also a pleasure, Angel Dust. - He replied, staring firmly at Angel, with a small, almost
imperceptible smile on his face. But Angel noticed and couldn't help but feel a little shaky.

He felt afraid.

Angel had definitely heard about the Gambling Overlord, but he had never seen him in
person, and all he knew were extremely distorted rumors about his appearance and way of
acting. So when Valentino appeared in his dressing room saying he would now belong to the
feline, he couldn't help but fear for his physical integrity and mental health. If this demon was
Valentino's friend, what kind of things would he have to face from now on? What kind of
abuse and aggression would he have to endure?

Angel Dust felt fear.

- Is there any other unfinished business Valentino? - The deep voice was present again in
the room, taking Angel out of his reveries and drawing Valentino's attention. - If there's
nothing else, I think you can enjoy your night at the casino now.

This was a polite and subtle way of telling the moth that he was no longer welcome there and
should leave. The smile on the moth's face faltered, but he didn't let it shake him. Taking
another drag of his smoke, he stood up with a malicious grin.

- I guess I should be going then. It's always good doing business with you, Husker. - He
shifted his gaze to the slender figure sitting on the sofa. - Behave, amorcito, don't make
Husk return you to me. - His cold gaze aimed at the pink demon, and Valentino's malicious
grin widened when he noticed the effect his words had on him.

The furry figure shuddered at the mere thought of the possibility. Valentino chuckled and
headed towards the door he came through, leaving only the sounds of his shoes as the sole
indication that he was no longer there. Gradually, the sound faded away, leaving the room in
silence, and only then did Angel notice the lazy jazz playing softly in the background.
The silence seemed endless to the spider demon, but it was only five minutes until Husk
finished his glass and cleared his throat, catching his attention. He snapped his fingers again
and the little imp ran back to his master.

- Follow Angel Dust to my office. I have business to attend to. - The imp nodded silently
and looked at Angel, asking him to follow him.
The spider demon got up and followed the imp, accompanied by two more burly guards. He
left Husk one last glance, before finally leaving the room.

After a few minutes of following the little lackey, Angel could no longer tell where he was.
All the hallways looked the same, with several golden doors, and the red wallpaper with
brown accents stretched to the end of the hallway. After climbing a flight of stairs that looked
more like the stairs in Rapunzel's tower, they finally arrived at a hallway that only had one
door.
The imp walked towards it and opened it, indicating that Angel should enter.

- One of the guards will be outside if you need anything Mr. Dust, don't hesitate to ask. -
After that he left and Angel was alone again.

Unlike the previous room, this room was cold and dark, but he didn't dare turn on the lights,
and it wasn't necessary, as in front there was a wall made completely of glass, from floor to
ceiling. And that was the direction Angel followed, feeling attracted by the city lights.
The casino consisted of a tall building, there were at least twelve floors and Angel assumed
that room was on the top floor. The view was breathtaking, something majestic that he hadn't
had the opportunity to see even when he was alive. The movement of hell and the flashy
lights were something captivating.

He walked away, finally looking around, right next to him, a long solid wooden table, which
contained a computer and some papers that he didn't dare read. In front of this table, an
armchair and in front another table, this time small and made of glass, with three-seater sofas
positioned on both sides of the table. On the left wall, a long shelf full of the most diverse
drinks and a counter with a minibar.

Angel Dust walked to the couch and lay down without bothering to wrinkle her beautiful
dress, a gift from Valentino. He thought of Fat Nuggets, and smiled sadly, without even
realizing as he slowly fell asleep.

When the Gambling Overlord came down to join the crowd, the vast hall became even more
lively. With a big smile always present and all his elegance on display, Husk went to his usual
table and sat down, quickly being surrounded by several sinners willing to test his uncertain
luck.
For those who just wanted to gamble and have fun betting expensive items or money, they
could go anywhere else in the casino, but here, with Husk, bets were made only in exchange
for the souls of sinners.
If you're not willing to lose what you have, don't even play the game.

The feline's charming smile grew even wider when the first brave one took a step forward. A
thin Cyclops dressed in elegant clothes and spiky white hair; he was visibly nervous, his
hands shaking and sweat running down his face.

- Are you willing to bet your soul here player? - Husk asked starting the game.

- Y-yes! - A halting response came out and he seemed unsure of his decision, but there was
nothing Husk could do since he agreed.

- So let's start. - The golden eyes began to shine and Husk picked up his cards the same color
as his eyes. The deck gave off a magical glow, with a few small lines that orbited the cards,
lazily swaying. - Tell me your name.

- William Afton. - The answer came a little more confident.

- What are you betting on tonight, Mr. Afton?

- My soul, it's all I have. - He took a step forward. - What can I gain if I win?

- If you win, you can play for free here for the rest of the night. Do you agree with that,
Mr. Afton? - Husk looked deep into his eyes, the shining pupils became even more
mesmerizing than normal, causing the cyclops to hesitate before responding.

- I-I am..

- Then let the games begin. - Husk began to shuffle the cards nimbly. - And may the best
win.

And of course Husk won, just as he won against 8 other bets for the souls of other sinners. It
wasn't difficult, he was an overlord for a reason after all, he was skilled and rarely lost a bet.
Most of the demons thought they would be better than him and approached the table
arrogantly, certain that they would win. Husk admired this type of being, it was important to
have confidence in yourself, as long as it was nothing more than that, confidence.

He felt bored after another win in a row and decided he would call it a night after a few hours
of betting. He kept his deck of cards in the inside pocket of his suit, marking the bets as
officially closed and walked towards the stairs with the intention of returning to the
mezzanine, but without ever losing his smile. And then he remembered the spider demon,
Angel Dust. Surely, he had been waiting for a few hours and must have been extremely bored
at this point.

Husk made his way to the elevator and ascended to his floor, accompanied by the guards to
his office. Upon opening the door, the feline was met with darkness. Frowning, he felt the
wall for the switch until he found it and turned on the light.

Scanning the room, he searched for the slender figure, wondering if Angel had left or perhaps
escaped!
Just as he considered calling his guards, he heard a deep sigh that prompted him to go toward
the source of the sound. There, on the sofa, he found the pink demon seemingly sound
asleep.

He was even more beautiful while sleeping, Husk thought; his peaceful appearance suggested
a dreamless sleep, just peacefully resting.

The overlord couldn't resist approaching, feeling increasingly drawn to the spider demon,
inching his face closer. The feline carefully observed Angel's features, from his well-groomed
fringe to his lashes curved over the makeup-adorned eyes. His furry hands touched the white
face delicately. Of course, he wouldn't do anything to Angel Dust unless he asked or
permitted it. Going against consent was definitely not Husk's style.

Before he could move away, a pair of eyes opened, confusion passed for a few seconds
before giving way to a look covered in fear and disappointment. Husk quickly pulled his
hand away as if he had been burned, and took two steps back.

- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you, just.. wake you up. Anyway, I'm sorry for being so
close. – The brownish man asked decisively, without looking away, although his cheeks were
slightly red.

Angel was surprised. – It was nothing.. – His voice was low, still affected by sleep. – You
know, this is the first time I've been asked to apologize. Mainly for just one touch.

Husk was surprised by this line. What the hell was Valentino doing to this kid that he never
heard an apology in all this time? “Mainly for just one touch.”???
Feeling angry, the overlord sat down on the sofa facing Angel Dust, sighing loudly and trying
to control his anger.

– You can be sure that you will never go through anything like this again while you are
with me. – He said, finally looking at the taller one, who sat down correctly. – Now that
you're awake, I need to tell you the terms of our agreement.

Angel nodded, and waited for Husk to start talking. He couldn't lie and say he wasn't feeling
fearful, afraid of what these terms might bring him.

– First of all, if you're hungry, I'll get you something. – Angel's eyes widened when he saw
that Husk's eyes began to shine in a golden light. – The same thing, if you’re tired, or need
privacy, just tell me. Until I find you an apartment, you will stay with me.

He stood up and walked over to his desk, taking something equally shiny from one of the
drawers.

– I can give you money, drinks, drugs, anything you want, just ask me. – He walked up to
Angel. – But in return put that pretty face of yours to work and attract customers to the
casino. – Husk approached the demon and gestured for him to extend his hand, which he did.
– Nothing here is free, so everyone besides you has to pay, don’t allow them not to. Don't
wear blue, ever, I fucking hate that color.
He took Angel's outstretched hand and showed a ring, it was golden and shined brightly.

– Here you will not sell your body, your only job is to attract customers and be beautiful as
usual. The symbol of our contract is this ring, you wear one and I wear the other. And one
last thing, if anyone messes with you or hurts you, I will kill the son of a bitch who dares.

The view Angel had from his place was splendid, seeing Husk from below gave him a
privileged view. If until that moment Angel already found the overlord handsome and
charming, his opinion increased a thousand times more. His heart was beating extremely fast,
skipping a few beats, his chest felt hot and he felt like he was going to die.
His face gradually turned red and he felt his eyes filling with tears. All the rules Husk told
him seemed so surreal that he was afraid he was still asleep and it was all just a dream.

– Do you agree with all these rules Angel Dust? – Angel's gaze focused on Husk's bright
eyes and he nodded. – I want you to say it in words.

– Yes Husk, I agree with your rules. – He took a deep breath, feeling the overlord put the
ring on his finger. – And I want to have this contract with you.

- Excellent. – Husk truly smiled for the first time in a long time, also putting on his own ring.
– Let’s go home, Angel.

Since he was alive, Husk has always had a habit of living alone. Even after his death and rise
to fame as an overlord, he maintained this custom, simply because it was part of who he was.
Furthermore, Husk never harbored the desire or ambition to establish relationships or form a
family and move away from loneliness.
Upon arriving in hell, he initially had casual one-night stands with some demons, female or
male, or neither, or even both, anyway. He never got used to getting deeply involved with
someone, and as his fame grew, he attracted the attention of malicious and ill-intentioned
people who tried to have a one-night stand with him, leading him to abandon this practice.
After all, as the saying goes, it's better to be alone than in bad company, right?
Either way, Husk got used to the constant silence of his apartment, where he was the only
source of sound. So it was a real shock for him to wake up to shrill screams echoing through
the hallway.

He was still a little groggy from sleep but he quickly got up and ran towards the sound, which
was coming directly from the room where Angel was staying. Husk didn't hesitate to
forcefully open the door, fearing that something bad was happening to Angel. However, the
vision he had was of Angel in bed, with his eyes tightly closed, both pairs of arms wrapped
around each other, in a failed attempt to protect himself. He screamed loudly and said almost
incomprehensible phrases, but Husk was able to make out the name “Valentino” and “stop
please”.
So it was Valentino that the pinkette was dreaming about, and apparently they weren't on
good terms. He was clearly distraught and scared.

Angel was having a nightmare.

- Please don't hurt me... - Angel said in a low, broken voice and then sobbed. - I swear I will
be a good boy, I.. I will behave..

Husk hesitated. Feeling his anger towards Valentino growing even more, he walked until he
was close to the demon's bed as he continued to scream. - Damn Angel.. - He looked around
without knowing what to do. - How can I touch you while you're sleeping? You might be
even more scared...
The feline didn't know who he was talking to, but he hoped that something would hear him
and give him some idea of what to do. His mind was clouded and confused between anger
and despair, it seemed like a loud alarm was ringing in his mind, while red lights flashed.
When Angel began choking and sobbing loudly, Husk decided he must act, regardless of the
consequences. - I'm sorry Angel. - And then he grabbed the tallest one's shoulders and
started shaking him, calling his name several times, hoping that would be enough to wake up
the tallest one and hoping that he wouldn't get too scared.

Angel Dust woke up to a very deep rush of air. He was panting and his eyes spilled the tears
that had been held back until then. The first thing he saw when his eyes finally focused, was
the pair of golden eyes looking at him worriedly, looking for any sign that something was still
wrong. The demon was scared and couldn't hide. Husk's hands were still on his shoulders and
now they felt like they weighed tons. The heat of them against the bare skin of his arm made
him feel sick. Angel placed his head back on the pillow, and turned his face to the side,
closing his eyes tightly again, hoping that Husk would be quick with whatever he wanted to
do.
Husk found himself in that act, some unpleasant memories invaded his mind and he walked
away as quickly as lightning. He hid his face in the shadows made by the little light coming
through the window when Angel looked at him in surprise and confusion.

- I'm sorry Angel. - He started with a low voice. - I didn't know what else to do to wake you
up. I... - He hesitated. - I just want you to know that I would never do anything and I will
never do anything without your consent.

Feeling suffocated by the lack of response, Husk turned and left, closing the door so quietly
that Angel wasn't able to hear and wouldn't believe it if he hadn't seen it happen. He sighed
deeply, feeling confused. For a second, he feared. The things he heard from Husk were not
pleasant and followed a set of acts similar to what Valentino did to him. He felt a little
surprised when he noticed the overlord's presence, but then he resigned himself. That's how
the world was. For a second he had thought that Husk might be nice and pleasant because of
the way he was treated at the casino, but in the end he was as the rumors said. But then he
walked away, and apologized. And Angel couldn't understand.
His mind was used to constant mistreatment and abuse, so he couldn't understand why Husk
hadn't done it. He couldn't find any reason why the overlord wouldn't want him, he couldn't
see through his actions and he couldn't help but feel suspicious and fearful.

He tried to push away these thoughts when he turned over in bed, and covered himself better,
curling up again in search of sleep. Even though he was suspicious, at no point did he think
about locking the door to protect himself.

Husk had a terrible night.

After leaving Angel's room feeling horrible and full of bad memories running around in his
mind, he felt the need to drink something until he forgot about all his problems that he fought
for so many years to forget and heal. Fortunately the feline was a little more self-aware than
that and knew that drinking wouldn't solve his problems and would only temporarily keep
them away. He went down to the kitchen and drank two almost full glasses of whiskey with
ice. When he started to feel drowsy, he went back and threw himself on the bed, just waiting
for his eyes to close and sleep to take him, but it never happened.
He spent the night awake without being able to sleep a wink.

At some point, the day began to brighten, and looking at the clock, he discovered it was 6:14
am. The feline sighed and got up, starting another day.

Gradually, sunbeams invaded Angel's room, persisting even after waking him up. He used his
upper arms to rub his face while one of his remaining hands groped the bed for Fat Nuggets,
without success. He stopped rubbing his eyes when he felt the cold metal touch his face, and
then he saw the golden ring, forgotten until then. He reached his arm up, looking at the jewel,
unable to avoid thinking about how his life had changed drastically. One day, he was stuck in
the studio, forced to record all day, and the next, he was in the most famous casino in hell,
with the Gambling Overlord himself putting a ring on his finger. He couldn't help but blush at
this thought and then jumped up.

He finally started his day by doing his morning hygiene and went to the closet looking for
clothes, dressed in a fluffy robe and a towel on his wet hair.
The room, which was now his, was not exaggeratedly large. His king-sized bed was near the
window, which had floor-length curtains. In front of the bed, there was a television on the
wall and right next to it, the door that led to the bathroom. To the right of the entrance door,
there was a desk with a chair and a small lamp on top. On the opposite wall of the bathroom
door, there was the closet door, which was medium in size and there was even a space for
doing makeup.
Everything was exaggeratedly white.

He approached the few clothes there and noticed that they all matched the style he was used
to wearing. They just seemed too expensive. He picked what seemed to be the simplest, a
pink crop top - his favorite color - and a black pleated skirt. He put on his boots, took the
towel off his head and, after fixing his hair, headed out into the hallway.

Angel Dust was still not used to the house, he hesitantly followed the hallway towards the
stairs, wondering if Husk would be angry to see that he left the room, but then he concluded
that he wouldn't. Husk wouldn't mind, he hoped.
Downstairs he followed a captivating scent to a room that turned out to be the kitchen. It was
big and modern. There was an island with some stools and in front of it a long table with
eight seats, which was full of the most different foods and drinks. He smiled in a mix of
emotion, hunger and happiness and felt eager to eat a little of everything, and approached
slowly without even noticing Husk sitting in one of the chairs.

- Good morning Angel. -He attracted the slender man's attention. - Did you sleep well? -
Husk didn't truly care since he hadn't even slept, but he wanted to make the demon feel
comfortable.

Angel remembered the night before and tried not to get upset, but he dropped his smile. -
Good morning sir. I, um... after that I slept well. Thanks for.. waking me up.
- You don't have to call me that, you can call me Husk, you know. - He didn't know. -
Anyway, I would do what I did with anyone. - Angel felt his stomach turn. - Sit down and
eat, don't be shy, after all this is also your home.

The taller one sat facing Husk, still suspicious. Receiving this kind of treatment so... normal,
it was strange, it made him feel on alert, waiting for the moment when Husk would reveal
that everything was just an act and he would go back to living days without any happiness or
hope.
All bad thoughts left his mind when he moaned in approval at the sweet taste in his mouth.
He had tasted a small strawberry jelly tortilla, and it was simply the best thing he had tasted
in his entire afterlife!

- Oh my devil! That's delicious! - He couldn't help but say, drawing Husk's gaze to him, who
smiled roguishly. - Where did you buy this? I definitely need to buy more of these! - He
shook the tortilla and took another bite, closing his eyes in satisfaction.

- I didn't buy it. I made these. - Angel widened his eyes, surprised by the overlord's excellent
cooking skills. - If you like it, I'll do them more often. - He returned to paying attention to
the small tablet in his hand, feeling his ego softened.

Husk had woken up very early and decided to take his mind off cooking. He admitted that he
had gone a little too far because he filled his table with the most diverse foods. But if Angel
liked it, all the work was worth it. Knowing that people enjoy your food is such a good
feeling, and Husk hasn't felt that in a long time. He went back to checking his schedule for
the day and they both ate in silence, which was sometimes broken by the spider moaning or
praising his food so truly.

Once satisfied, Husk got up and they both went to the garage, being guided by the shorter
one. Angel didn't question it when the overlord asked if he had finished eating and said they
needed to leave, and just followed him to the car. A burly, well-dressed demon opened the
door of the black limousine and they both got in. Angel spent the whole way looking out the
window, getting lost in different thoughts, so distracted that he didn't notice Husk calling him
several times. He only came out of his trance after the younger one snapped his fingers close
to his face, attracting his gaze.

- We're here, I called you several times. Are you okay? Why were you so distracted? - The
eldest couldn't help but feel a little warmed by Husk's evident concern.

- I'm fine, Husk. Just thinking about Fat Nuggets. - Sigh.

- Fat Nuggets??

- Yes, he was my pet. But I couldn't catch it before leaving Valentino. - Can't help but feel
discouraged. - I miss him..
Husk felt like saying he would get the little animal back, but before he was stopped by the
driver opening the door and saying they couldn't stay there for long. They both got out of the
car and went inside the establishment.
The door bell rang sweetly as they passed by, finding themselves in a well-lit and cozy place.
A tall imp suddenly appeared, smiling when he saw Husk. He approached and hugged the
youngest's shoulders and then walked away.

- Husker my old friend. It's been a while since we've seen each other. -He looked at Angel
and then at Husk again. - Is that your boy? Very gorgeous my friend, I always knew you had
good taste. - He poked Husk with his elbow provocatively, making him smile awkwardly
with his red face. Angel also blushed, looking away without denying it. - Anyway, what
brings you here? -He asked, changing the focus of the conversation.

- I want you to take his measurements, and I need clothes for him. - Husk said indicating
Angel with his hand.

- Ah, wanting to please your boyfriend. Very good! Very good! - The imp smiled and
made a sign with his hand for them to follow him. - Come on boy, come up here.

Angel climbed onto the small platform and followed the tailor's instructions when he asked
him to open his arms or turn away. He measured it and wrote it down in a small notebook, all
the while chatting casually with Husk and Angel. Always referring to them as a couple, and
for some reason neither of them was able to deny or clear things up.
The spider demon felt strange. This tailoring scenario was not new to him, he constantly went
through this type of situation in Velvette's atelier, when Valentino sent him there. The
atmosphere was heavy and suffocating.
But there, next to the feline and the tall imp, the atmosphere was surprisingly light and
peaceful. Husk was smiling, and Angel felt mesmerized. He couldn't deny that he was a
really good catch. Husk was the kind of elegant beauty that attracts all kinds of looks.
Looking polite and really rich, naturally attracting attention with his feline charm. Wow.
He is hot.

- Come on, I'm finished. - Angel came out of his thoughts when the tailor spoke out loud. -
What kind of suit do you want, dear? I can do anything you want.

- A-ah actually.. - Angel stuttered and blushed, but couldn't finish his sentence. Nobody had
ever questioned his clothing choices. He was actually taken by surprise and felt shy, although
the imp didn't do it on purpose.

- I don't want to see him in a suit. I want the best dresses you can make. - Husk took
control of the situation. - I want you to surprise me. Do you think you can do that?

Afterwards the tall tailor became hysterical and angry that his longtime friend was doubting
him, and hurriedly threw them both out, saying that he would regret it, and that he would
make the best dresses hell had ever seen, and rub it in Husk's face. The feline left the store
laughing happily, and Angel felt infected, laughing too. Outside, they got back into the car
and headed to their second destination.
Angel was surprised when he recognized the path the vehicle was taking. They stopped in
front of the hell shopping mall and after getting out he saw Husk saying something to the
driver, who nodded and got into the car again.
- May I ask where exactly we're going, Husk? - The low voice broke the comfortable silence
that existed between them.

- We're going to buy you some clothes. - The feline replied simply, still walking.

- Clothes? More clothes?! - Angel followed his steps, but two steps behind after having
stopped in shock at Husk's words

- Clothes like the ones you're wearing Angel. - He pointed. - You can't always wear the
same few clothes that are in the closet, you need more than that. - They got closer and
closer to the store, until they were in front of it.

- You don't need to spend so much on me... - Angel was worried that Husk would spend
uncontrollably on him, and end up having future losses. He knew the feline was rich. Okay,
rich is still not enough to describe, but everything there seemed to be unnecessarily
expensive, and he felt like he didn't deserve it all.

- Just stop complaining and come in quickly. It's not like it's a sacrifice to spend on you.
Besides, you're my companion, you always need to be well dressed. C'mon C'mon! - Husk
took the lead and entered the store, quickly being attended to by a well-dressed demoness,
who wore a pair of glasses.

They spent a few hours picking out some clothes. Husk laughed whenever he saw the
grimace on Angel's face, reacting to some ugly or tacky piece, and he started doing that on
purpose.

- Do you think it will look good on me? - Angel asked, holding a hanger with a red strapless
tube dress, with lots of glitter.

- Anything would look good on you, Angel. If you are in doubt, you should try it.

The pinkette was caught off guard by the sudden compliment and blushed, looking away. - Y-
you're right, I'll prove it. - He said and quickly walked away towards the dressing rooms,
where he entered and closed the curtain.

Husk settled into one of the armchairs opposite and waited for Angel to leave. A few minutes
pass until he hears Angel's low voice asking for help with the zipper. When the curtain
opened, he revealed his heavily flushed white face, his gaze focused on the floor. Husk
laughed weakly and got up, heading towards the tallest one.
He was able to see his image reflected in the mirror, with dress pants and shoes, and the shirt
with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows and two buttons open.

He tried not to let his gaze wander too much over Angel's bare back, but he couldn't help but
think how soft they looked.

- I'm going to touch you now. - He waited until he saw the oldest nodding and then grabbed
the zipper and pulled it up. He walked away smiling, seeing how beautiful the taller one
looked dressed in that outfit. The red fabric hugging his beautiful curves, highlighting them,
and leaving a large part of his beautiful legs exposed.
- I liked. - Angel turned to the feline. - What do ya' think?

- You look divine Angel. Are you going to take this one? - The demon thought a little and
then decided he would take it. - Let's go, then. - After announcing his touch again, Husk
opened the zipper again and took advantage of the proximity to close the dressing room
curtain.

Angel's arm was actually close and Husk made a quick move to pull back the curtain. Even
though he wasn't touched, Angel pulled his arm hard, out of pure reflex. He had gotten used
to people, not just Valentino, pulling his arm roughly like that, so he couldn't help but startle.
His head alarms went off and he turned around desperately, grabbing his clothes tightly,
trying to cover himself.
When his eyes met the pair of golden pupils he remembered.

He was no longer with Valentino.

He was no longer in a hostile and dangerous environment.

Now he is with Husk.

He would be fine.

The feline apologized quietly and hated himself for making such sudden movements around
the older man, and slowly closed the curtain, leaving Angel and his thoughts on the other
side.

The Hour of Joy

Angel's mind couldn't process the events well after the curtain was closed. Everything
seemed hazy and confusing. Conscious of him, he couldn't understand why Husk treated him
so well. He felt welcomed, flattered, and also felt undeserving, even though deep down,
hidden so he couldn't see himself, he knew that Husk's treatment - even if a little more
affectionate than ideal - was literally the minimum to do. Being treated like a person and not
an object.
Valentino never treated him like this, in fact, since they first saw each other, Angel had
received longing and appraising looks from him, and even though the moth treated him well
and was courteous, it was superficial and fake. Really fake.

Without realizing it, they arrived home. Angel climbed the stairs towards his own room with
only his ears ringing, the sounds were muffled around him and he could barely hear a low
buzz around him. Without caring, he ignored it and went upstairs.
The low buzz was actually Husk. The feline realized that something was wrong by the lazy
way Angel walked and also by the way his eyes were dull, almost lifeless, it was scary. He
called the older man a few times and tried to talk to him and at first he thought he had done
something wrong as he wasn't answering him, but after insisting a little he realized that Angel
wasn't doing it on purpose, he really didn't notice that Husk was there, and it was acting
completely automatically.

Husk sat down on the couch, sighing tiredly and running a hand through his silky hair. He
threw himself against the backrest and rested his head, staring at the skylight.
His thoughts turned to the clothing store. Did he do something wrong? It was his fault, right?
It was always his fault, always was. He just tried to help the pinkette and ended up ruining
everything. He felt like his relationship was back to square one, even though he hadn't moved
that much until then.
Another loud scream echoed through the house, and apparently Angel was skilled at making
high-pitched screams. Husk jumped to his feet, and in a few flaps of wings he was in front of
the pinkette's room again. The scene was familiar, undeniably.
He opened the bedroom door sharply, alert for danger, but all he found was Angel standing
there, holding a small demon pig in his arms. Husk had never seen him smile like that, and it
was impossible not to be infected by the joy and smile too. When Angel noticed another
presence in the room, he turned and directed the smile at the Overlord, making Husk's heart
skip a beat before calming down.

- Was it you?! - The pink one asked, bringing the little pig closer to his body and holding him
like a human baby.

- Huh.. yes. Is this Fat Nuggets? - Husk didn't know, after all he had never seen the little pet
before, all he did was ask the driver to go to Valentino to pick him up and leave him in
Angel's room. It was risky, since he didn't know what a “Fat Nugget” was, but it was a relief
that it was a small and seemingly docile animal.
- Yes! Yes! I'm so happy! I missed him so much. - He kissed the little pig's face several
times, which grunted excitedly, looking equally happy. The scene brought a small laugh from
the Overlord. It was very cute. - Here. -He held the animal out in front of the smaller boy's
face. - That's Fat Nuggets, and Nuggie, that's Husk.

- It's a pleasure to finally meet you Fat Nuggets. I've heard a lot about you. -Husk said,
clearly joking, but this small consideration of introducing himself to the pet warmed Angel's
chest and will certainly be marked in his memory. He didn't try to contain the smile that came
naturally, and after that he placed the pet on the floor. Who innocently circled Husk's legs and
then suddenly grunted and ran into the closet.

- Hey! Not there Nuggie! - Angel ran after the demonic pig and left Husk behind, entering
the previously empty room. As soon as he stood up with the pet on his lap, his eyes were hit
with several different colors and he screamed again in surprise.

Husk entered abruptly and saw that there was only an amazed Angel standing in the room, he
cursed under his breath. - Can you stop screaming like that? Gees, I get scared every time. -
Worried.

- What are those things? - He pointed to the different clothes organized in the closet,
especially to a specific area that seemed to be haute couture, and very, very expensive. -
Husk for Satan's sake, this seems to have cost... I don't know, my whole life! - He
approached and with one of his lower hands touched one of the fabrics with his fingers,
feeling how soft it was.

- These are your clothes, to wear at the casino, at parties or important events. You can use
them whenever you want, in fact, they are yours. - He shrugged. - And about the price, if
I'm not worried, why should you be?

Without being able to contradict or oppose it, Angel remained silent, feeling emotional. He
approached and held Husk's hand gently and seeing that he just looked at him confused by
the sudden act but didn't move away, he hugged the overlord calmly, trying to hold back his
tears. Heavens! He was so emotional lately. - Thank you Husk. - He whispered without
leaving the hug. - For everything, for Nuggie, for the clothes, and for me...

- I will do everything for you Angel. - Husk didn't know why he had said that, he just felt an
absurd desire to promise all hell to Angel if necessary and when he realized he had already
responded.

Husk wrapped his arms around the demon's waist and stroked his back gently, letting him cry
there for a while. A few minutes passed until they heard a light knock on the door. Outside, a
demon announced that it was close to time to go to the casino, and they should hurry and get
ready.
They walked away in a comfortable silence, and Husk left the room feeling light. He felt a
peace in his heart that he hadn't felt in a long time, and despite the forgotten and strange
feeling, he didn't fear it.

After spending a good few minutes in his quarters getting ready to go to the casino, Husk
came out wearing his custom suit made by his tailor friend. The black suit with gold details
hugged his strong muscles, highlighting his broad shoulders and strong back. His hair was
elegantly styled into a pompadour and left a trail of his woodsy scent down the hallway as he
headed toward the living room. He sat and listened to the little demon talk about his schedule
for the rest of the afternoon.

The sound of high heels was picked up by the feline's pointed ears and they trembled pointing
towards the sound, which was coming from the top of the stairs. When Husk turned towards
the sound, he was in disbelief at what he saw, this could only be a dream. Oh, it was certainly
a very good dream, and he hoped no one would wake him up before he managed to talk to the
beauty coming down the stairs.
To their surprise, Angel was wearing a very elegant black dress. The dress was high-necked
and sleeveless, and its back was open. On his four arms he wore long gloves that went up
past the elbows and had golden details on the edge and around the wrists, the ring was there,
above them, on display for everyone. There was also a triangle neckline that left his chest
hair on full display. Some golden chains adorned his waist, making it even more prominent
than before. The soft fabric trailed a little to the floor, and there was a gigantic slit that went
from a foot below the base of the dress, all the way to the floor. This whole view was already
breathtaking, but then (un)fortunately Husk set his eyes on the two side openings.
Oh, he felt like he was going to die, his heart was beating so hard in his chest that he felt like
he had run a marathon. He would definitely die!

The dress hugged the older man's body very well, making him seductive and extremely hot.
Those side slits, he certainly wasn't wearing underwear so they wouldn't show. At that
thought Husk blushed, cleared his throat and looked away at his face, trying not to think
about it and failing wonderfully.

When Angel finally reached the ground floor, the feline could see his face clearly. His eyes
were highlighted with gold eyeliner, and damn he was wearing black lipstick with gold glitter
shining on top.

Even if he tried for years, Husk would never in his entire afterlife be able to describe what he
was feeling at that moment. His mind was plunged into the deepest white. He couldn't think
of anything and no pure thoughts would come out if he tried. Seeing that beauty walking
towards him made his heart race even more, even though he thought it wasn't possible.
When Angel saw that Husk was still staring at him without looking away, even though he
was already considerably close, he laughed softly and that sound, in Husk's opinion, would
make thousands of flowers bloom. He came out of the trance and with a red and hot face
directed Angel to the garage and they both got into the car again.

The streets around the casino were quite busy since it was located in the busiest part of the
pentagram. The queue was not yet formed, nor were the bars that organized the queue
assembled nor the large wooden door closed, and unlike what Angel thought, they did not
stop in front of the main door, but continued to the side, almost at the boundaries. of the land.
There was a large glass door, guarded by four burly demons.

- By the way, I didn't ask this before, but why did we come earlier, Husk? - The spider
demon said as he got out of the car next to the overlord and entered through the large door.
- I want you to see the casino. It's important to know your place of work, and if we ever
have an emergency, you know where to go. - The shorter one responded, entering the place.

After passing through the door a corridor was revealed, there were only two doors there. Both
were elevators, but one for demons and the other for heavy loads. Husk and Angel entered
the metal box accompanied by the overlord's personal guard.

- Well, let's go. I'll show you the administrative part of the company. - Husk started but was
interrupted by the taller man's surprised look, he laughed and continued. - Yes, I know it's a
little surprising because well, we're in hell we have practically no organization here, but
that's what has kept me going all these years. Downstairs, if you follow the corridor and
turn left you will find the main stairs, where you and Valentino went up the first time, but
that one is for customers only. The elevator's first stop is on the mezzanine of the main
hall, you already know it, so we won't go there.

Angel remained silent, paying attention to everything Husk said. They stopped at each floor
of the elevator, but did not leave, the overlord introduced all the floors lightly, but got off on
some of them to introduce Angel to his employees. The youngest made a point of making it
clear that Angel was his protection and they should respect him as they respect themselves,
no demon had any objections, or the courage to expose them if they had any.

The entire tour took about two hours and at the end they went down to the mezzanine for the
opening of the casino.

Husk stood in front of the railing where he placed both hands and signaled for the doors to
open, prompting one of his demons to communicate the order on the walkie-talkie. The
spider demon was a few steps behind, watching the movement of employees who were
rushing to their seats.

- Come here, you must stay by my side now. - Husk called calmly and Angel approached. -
Don't leave my side.

The view from the mezzanine was truly breathtaking, the pinkette's eyes ran across the vast
hall, seeing the betting machines glow and beep, and the Dealers going to their respective
poker tables. His heart raced in excitement, he was looking forward to the night to come. It
was different being there, the feeling he had a few days ago when he was there with
Valentino was suffocating and melancholic, but now, he felt powerful and happy..

The crowd began to enter in droves, politely and elegantly, and within a few minutes the
large hall was full. - Can I touch you? - The Overlord's whispered voice made Angel look
away from the floor below. He accepted, not knowing what Husk would do, and he placed his
hand on his waist. This act caught the older man by surprise, he felt his face flush and looked
back at the movement. - As soon as the lights come on, they'll be able to see us. - Husk
spoke again, still looking at the crowd. - I will officially introduce you to society as my
companion today. Things might get a little… difficult after today, but I'll make sure you're
always accompanied.

- What do you mean by that? - Angel asked, a little worried about his physical integrity. He
had a vague notion of what Husk meant, he also suffered attacks when he was still with
Valentino, but he had to resolve it alone.

- Let's talk about this later, it's almost time. Please know that our guards have tattoos of
the suit of hearts (♥) under their left eye, and the suit of gold (♦) on their right eye. If you
get lost or want something, you should ask them.

- Right.. - He was still a little unsure, but decided to trust Husk and his team.

- It's now.

As soon as these words left the overlord's mouth, the lights quickly turned on, drawing the
attention of the entire hall. Husk pulled the demon closer and smiled sluttishly at the crowd
and then Angel decided to do the same, looking at everyone with his seductive gaze. Husk
quickly spread his wings, and the hall was filled with applause and cheers. Angel had never
felt so powerful and adored before, and without him realizing it his smile grew.

The evening had officially started.

After being applauded for a few minutes, the crowd turned their attention to the games, eager
for both the overlord and his mysterious company to descend into the hall. Angel and Husk
had a few drinks sitting on the mezzanine, chatting pleasantly, sitting side by side on the sofa,
watching the movement in the room, and after almost two hours, a few glasses of whiskey
and an opium cigarette for Angel, they both agreed to finally get together. join customers.

Husk would never admit it out loud, but seeing Angel in makeup, in that dress and puffing on
a long cigarette made him almost ten times more seductive than he normally was.

Both went down the main stairs accompanied by some security guards, and were quickly
approached by the crowd. Angel was warmly welcomed by the crowd and the news that Husk
now had a date spread through the arcades like wildfire dipped in gasoline. In a few hours
almost the entire pentagram knew that they would both be together from now on. And despite
some nasty comments from some sinners who insinuated that being an escort includes
sleeping with the overlord, the night was peaceful, and surprisingly a lot of fun.

The overlord did not join in the betting that night, and at no point did he leave his
companion.

Chapter 4: The Last Drop Of Happiness
Chapter Notes

hello sinners! I'm back once again, I hope you enjoy reading!

According to the human mind, happiness is relative and fragile. A single factor can be
responsible for the happiness of many, but not always for everyone's happiness, which is why
it is relative. At the same time, a small rude act, or a bit of bad luck can tarnish your
happiness, and make you consider a day that until then was good, bad, therefore, it is fragile.

Angel Dust feels happy. It had been exactly twenty days since he had left Valentino's
malicious claws, and suddenly falling into Husk's soft palm made Angel feel insecure, fearful
and cornered. But now, he couldn't stop himself from smiling, especially thinking about how
easy his job was, and how much he enjoyed being by the feline's side. Moreover, he was very
well compensated even if his job was just to “be pretty”. Husk is a kind and calm person,
great company and someone who rarely gets angry, unlike Valentino who is volatile, almost
always angry and aggressive.

Husk never forced his desires on Angel, he didn't touch him without permission, he is careful,
he worried and he never, in all twenty days together, cursed Angel, not once.

These were the main differences between Valentino and Husk.

Little by little, his distrust began to crumble, giving way to the beginning of a healthy
relationship, something that Anthony never thought he would achieve, due to his terrible
history since he was alive. He could see the sincerity in Husk, the affection, the care, the
kindness, oh! Husk was perfect! Of course, all this kindness still caused little doubts in
Angel, who was used to being surrounded by people who shouldn't be trusted, and even
though he still hasn't completely gotten over it and still keeps his back, if they asked, he
would be the first to defend Husk, would be the first to praise him.

And of course all this feeling was not one-sided. Husk never feared Angel Dust, he is
powerful, an Overlord, and has the contract with the spider demon. There was no reason to
fear, but Husk saw, he could see through the older man's scared eyes, from the first time they
were together in the same room, the few glances he directed at Angel that night, were enough
to see how broken and afraid he was.

Initially, he never liked Valentino. He thought the moth was malicious and had very bad
intentions, he was not a trustworthy demon and he would certainly never do business with
him. When Valentino came to him, wanting to play, he didn't care, it was fair and his powers
wouldn't let the tallest cheat, so there was no danger. Husk didn't pay attention to what
Valentino promised him back, and was suspicious when he said he would bring Angel the
next day, but he wasn't worried because his powers forced him to bring him, even if he
refused. Hours later, Husk accidentally saw a poster emblazoned with a pretty face, dressed
in a fake smile, reading "Angel Dust", and it was at that moment that he understood what he
had "won" in exchange for his bet.

He began his research in the middle of the night, and felt angry when he found out what
Valentino was doing with Angel and decided that he would treat the older man better than his
previous contractor did. It's obvious that Husk would treat him politely no matter what, but
knowing everything that happened motivated him to be better than he normally would be. It
wasn't out of pity, or in compensation, he just wanted to give Angel a dignified life now that
he would be under his wings.

The truth is that all the care went a little beyond the limits that Husk was planning, to the
point that newspapers from hell started to report and theorize about the possible relationship.
Of course, they exaggerated and insinuated several wrong and problematic things, but all it
took was a warning from Husk for everyone to withdraw their slander directed at Angel.

“New Couple from Hell Seen Walking Through the Streets of Pentagram!”

Husk smiled, shaking his head and analyzed the photo on the cover of the newspaper. They
really looked like a couple holding hands walking through the streets, but the reality is that
Angel was absentmindedly talking to Cherri Bomb on the new phone - which the Overlord
bought - and so they could cross without interrupting the conversation, Husk took one of her
hands to go to the other side. The newspapers are really sensationalist. Not that he cared
about the rumors of a possible relationship…

His eyes looked away from the newspaper when he caught another presence in the kitchen
next to him, Angel entered and went towards the refrigerator, looking for something to drink.
They had already had breakfast together, it had become a habit, and Husk stayed at home to
work - and he would take to his grave the fact that he was working from home just to stay
with the pinkish, and he would deny it to the death if they asked.

The feline pupils doubled in size when Angel bent down to look for something in the fridge,
and Husk quickly looked away, very flushed. Angel was wearing a big soft pink sweatshirt, it
was long but barely covered some parts and long socks that went up to your knees .
Underneath, the only piece he wore was black transparent panties with a bow on each side.
And that's exactly what Husk saw when he bent down. It wasn't something premeditated by
the taller one, who as soon as he picked up his can of soda, smiled and left the room,
followed by Fat Nuggets, without even noticing the reactions he caused in the kitchen.

Angel threw himself back on the couch, opening the can and taking a few sips of the drink,
feeling the cold, carbonated liquid go down his throat. He was watching a random movie that
he had already lost interest in, at the moment he was insistently trying to book an
appointment for himself at the spa he always went to, but they had no space for the day,
which made him snort loudly and throw his cell phone to the side. Fat Nuggets grunted and
climbed into his lap, Angel smiled and cuddled him in his arms, beginning a gentle caress.
With one of his upper arms the demon began to browse the channels in search of something
interesting to see, since he would have to stay holed up at home all day.
A few minutes later, the noise of footsteps coming from the stairs caught Angel's attention,
who was still looking for entertainment. As soon as he identified the source of the sound as
Husk, the demon smiled and analyzed the presence in front of him. The Overlord was
wearing dark jeans and a white dress shirt with the classic two open buttons and suspenders
that incredibly added charm. His beautiful hair was thrown back in his usual quiff, but this
time with a few strands of hair escaping, it only made him more charming! Angel was
distracted by the beauty of the shorter one, wanting to do certain things with him, and a
mischievous smile appeared on his face.

- I need to go to the office to get some documents and then I'm going to have lunch, do you
want to go with me? - Husk asked, finishing buttoning the cuff of his shirt.

- Of course! - Angel jumped up and went up the stairs in a hurry. Husk was ready and
waiting for him downstairs, so he quickly got ready by putting on a tight black skirt and a
pink turtleneck sweater, just putting on ankle boots over his socks.

Angel didn't notice the look he received from the youngest, perhaps because he was too
distracted saying goodbye to Fat Nuggets, but it was undeniable the fact that Husk felt
attracted to Angel.

Once ready, they both left the house heading towards the casino. The car ride was quick and
lasted no more than twenty minutes. They both headed towards the employee entrance and
took the elevator, going straight to the top floor. As soon as they left, they were greeted by
the empty and silent corridor.

- I'm just going to get some papers and come back, you can wait here if you want . - Husk
said and left the elevator without waiting for a response, in a few seconds he had already
disappeared through the door.

Not wanting to stay in the elevator with Husk's guards, Angel went out into the hallway,
escaping the awkward and boring silence. For the first time, the demon could notice the
corridor around him. The wallpaper was still a dark tone, close to brown, a very dark gold
perhaps, sepia, that was it! There were some detailed drawings in terracotta color, creating a
harmonious mix of colors that brought joy to Angel's eyes. Bored again, he walked slowly
down the hallway, and for the first time he noticed the painting hanging there. It was a really
large canvas, and the painting depicted the rough sea, the dark and rainy sky and in the
middle, a lit lighthouse. He hadn't noticed this painting before, but see, the first time he was
there he was so nervous that he couldn't process the events well, and this is the second time.

Angel stared at the painting. He felt melancholy, loneliness, despair, fear. This is what the
painter wanted to portray with the angry sea. The truth is that Anthony was a true fan of art,
since he was little he always loved looking at the paintings in his house for hours and hours,
and tried to analyze them, thinking about what the painter was feeling when he made the
work.

- Do you like art? - The velvety voice sounded next to Angel and he jumped a little in fright.

Without the taller man noticing, twenty minutes passed while he looked at the painting in the
hallway. Husk grabbed his papers quickly so he wouldn't keep him waiting, and when he
came back, he saw him staring appreciatively at the frame, he thought it best not to interrupt.

- Yes, I really love art. - He looked at the painting again. - I've liked art since I was alive, it's
funny to say it like that, but since I was a human child, I've been an art appreciator. It's a
shame that after arriving in hell I was never able to enjoy this hobby again. - He sighed.

- It's really a shame. Come on, we need to go.

Angel found that answer a little cold-blooded and direct, but he didn't mind too much, there
could be several reasons why Husk was like that. Taking one last look at the frame, he
followed the Overlord all the way back. Husk said something to the driver that the taller one
didn't hear and in a few minutes they were heading towards what Angel thought was the
restaurant where they were going to have lunch.

Minutes later, the car parked in front of a large building with mirrored windows, but it didn't
look like a restaurant at all. Even suspicious, the spider demon followed in silence to the door
of the place, where they were welcomed by two guards dressed in well-tailored suits.

As soon as they entered the place, they walked down a short hallway and then entered a room
that made Angel's eyes widen and shine with excitement. A smile began to grow on his face
and he laughed in disbelief, turning to the shorter one.

- You can only be kidding! I can't believe you brought me to a museum! In hell! I didn't
even know this existed here! Oh my Devil, thank you so much Husk! - Angel's happiness
was undeniable and he made no attempt to hide it.

Without caring about the guards - the only ones in the place - Angel pulled the shorter one
into a tight hug, at his peak of excitement and happiness. Husk just laughed, infected with
happiness and let himself be pulled by the hand when the oldest decided that they should see
the works of art. All the way, Husk not only saw the beauty of the works displayed there, but
he managed to see all the happy beauty that Angel had been exuding since he arrived there.
He was so happy that the feline felt infected, unable to stop himself from smiling along with
him, watching him at all time. Angel didn't let go of his hand at any point and Husk felt his
chest heat up.

- You know, I really didn't expect to see works of art here . - Angel commented, starting the
conversation, they had already covered almost the entire route of the museum, and were
arriving at the last works on display.

- I also thought that way at first, but after a while I realized that not all people are here
because they are cruel and horrible, most see hell as a second chance to live well and just
go back to doing what they did on earth.

The Overlord's response took Angel by surprise, he didn't expect Husk to have such a deep
reflection on hell, and he was right. Not everyone there was bloodthirsty and heartless killers.
Some just made mistakes in life, and ended up having a fate irreversible on hell.

The noise of Husk's stomach growling was what took the older man out of his thoughts, his
laugh made the Overlord's face even redder and they agreed to head to the restaurant.
Angel only let go of Husk's hand when they needed to get into the car.

Arriving in front of the large building, Angel realized that he would never guess that it was a
restaurant. It looked a lot like a corporate building, but to the demon's surprise, all the floors
belonged to the same restaurant. Entering the establishment, both were directed by employees
to the top floor and sat at a table near one of the huge windows that surrounded the entire
building.

The view, without a doubt, was breathtaking. Angel had his eyes on the city, Husk had his
eyes on Angel. The restaurant was tall enough that much of the pentagram could be seen, it
was still daytime so the city lights remained off, but it didn't take away from the beauty of the
city in which they resided.

Looking around, the oldest saw a hellhound at a nearby table eating a dessert that looked
delicious, a small chocolate cake and what looked like ice cream. He stared for a short time,
but it was long enough for Husk notice. A short time later, the waiter arrived and took their
orders, saying he would be back with the dishes soon. This opening was enough for the
couple to start a light conversation.

To anyone who looked back, they both seemed to have known each other for years, they felt
comfortable with each other, even with the short time they had been together, they already
had a small space in each other's hearts. Throughout the meal, Angel and Husk shared low
laughs - so as not to be expelled -, lively conversations and affectionate looks, which went
unnoticed in their eyes, but not in those around them. They felt at ease with each other,
enjoying not only the delicious food but also each other's company.

After the meal, Angel already felt ready to leave, but before he could say anything, a waiter
approached and left on the table a small plate with the dessert that the older man saw earlier,
along with a bottle of infernal water and a glass with a colorful drink. Angel looked at Husk a
little confused, not completely understanding what was going on.

- It’s to you. - The velvety voice sounded low and the big but shy smile that Husk received in
return was enough to warm his entire heart.

Angel ate his dessert without losing the smile on his face and after a little more conversation,
Husk signaled that they needed to leave and they headed towards the car.

Both were happy, and in no way feared the new sensations.
