SOP FOR KNOWLEDGE TRAINING SESSIONS

OFFERED FOR THE HTTC STUDENTS

TECHNICAL
TRAINING

1. All Technical Instructors, Practical Assistants, Training Coordinator and Assistant

Training Coordinator shall be adhered to the following SOP in offering and arranging
Knowledge Training Sessions for the HTTC Students during knowledge training programme
(BTC in AM).

2. Training Coordinator and Assistant Training Coordinator should ensure that the
Technical Instructors for the ongoing Modules are nominated well in advance by the Dte of AE
and Dte of ECE in order to provide sufficient time for the Instructors to prepare for the Lectures
and preparation of lecture materials. (Annual Instructor nomination with a Standby Instructor is
to be formulated through AFHQ whenever possible and stick to the nominations.)

3. The Technical Instructor is to ensure that lecture scope is in compliance to the

Knowledge Level outlined in Appendix I (Basic Knowledge Requirements), of SLCAIS 66.

4. All Technical Instructors should submit the Lesson Plans, PowerPoint Presentations and
Training Aids (if any) to HTTC to obtain the prior approval from the Technical Training
Manager (TTM). All the said documents/ materials prepared for the next week should be
submitted to HTTC on Thursday of previous week in order to forward them to TTM for
approval.

5. The Technical Instructor is to arrive at HTTC well in advance to commence the lectures
on time conforming to the course time table.

6. Module Instructor should plan the practical sessions pertaining to the Module (if
available) at SLAF Engineering facilities in accordance with the SLCAIS 66, in liaison with the
Assistant Training Coordinator and the Practical Assessor as outlined in Appendix I (Basic
Knowledge Requirements) of SLCAIS 66.

7. Training Coordinator/ Assistant Training Coordinator is to ensure that the nominated

Technical Instructors are available for the lectures as scheduled and the attendance of the
Instructors are to be recorded.
