Falls in a barrel and come out alive.
On October 24th, 1901, her 63rd
birthday, she rode her barrel over
Niagara Falls. She was a
schooteacher in Bay City, Michigan
weighing 160 pounds. She came to
Niagara Falls seeking fame and
fortune. The barrel was filled with
padding and a small mattress, and
the lid was sealed into place. She
then rode off Niagara Falls with her
cat.

you of a Horseshoe. Horseshoe

wide making it the largest
waterfall in Niagara Falls.

and most popular waterfall in
Niagara Falls.

BRIDAL VE
IL FALLS Bridal Veil Falls is one of the
three waterfalls at Niagara
Falls. Bridal Veil Falls is about
15 meters (50 feet) making it
the smallest out of all three
waterfalls. Its name derives
from the veil-like appearance of
the fall when the area's
frequent winds blow the mist
sideways.
EFFECTION ON CANADA

also serves as a major source of electricity for Ontario. The city is
connected to the U.S. side of the falls by several bridges. The
