This document discusses two things the author is most proud of: their mother and themselves. The author is proud of their mother for her sacrifices in raising them and their brothers, including leaving school and her home country to give them a better life. The author is also proud of themselves for overcoming challenges like being bilingual, on track to graduate with honors, and achieving goals despite struggling with the death of their cousin.

These two images represent the things of which I am most proud.
The first imagine it’s of my mom. Even though me and my mom
didn’t have a good relationship growing up. I always saw how much she tried to be a good mother for me and my brothers, how she worried for us, how she always put her kids first and how she always supported us. Even when she gets home from work exhausted she would still cook for us (me & brothers, dad) not just that she always made sure that we had a clean house, clean clothes, food, and so much more. My mom sacrificed all her life just for me and my brothers to have a better life. An example was leaving high school to raise us, she never got to finish high school. She also left her home country to come to the United States to give us a better life here. Even now she still sacrifices a lot of stuff for her kids.
The second image is a picture of myself when I was a kid. I'm
proud of myself for becoming the person I am today. I was born and raised in Mexico, I'm proud to say that I'm a bilingual person now but not just that I'm also an early senior, real soon I'm going to be graduating with honors, but one of the things that I'm most proud of it was that on July 4, 2023, I lost my cousin Brandon Mendez.Around the time I was finishing my credits to graduate this year and I was also working while dealing with my cousin's death. I struggled a lot around that time because of his death. Even after this event that changed my life completely, I'm still here achieving all my goals.
