SUBJECT : RE-APPOINTMENT OF SEVERAL OFFICERS, CREATING

OF AD HOC COMMITTEES AND RE-ORGANIZATION OF
THE ACADEMIC COMMITTEE

1. Background
1.1 The Council conducted its General Meeting on the 17 th Day of January 2023 to execute
the included agenda of planning and preparations for the upcoming enrollment of the
class on the 1st Day of February 2024.
1.2 Upon the discussion among the officers, it is advised that a new ad hoc committee shall
be formed to ensure that evens such as this where we need to perform logistic operations,
expenses, and procurements must be handled to create an organized approach further
resolving this issue.
1.3 Another item discussed in connection to the enrollment of the class resulted into re-
organization of the Academic Committee. Its revised mandate is to ensure that separate
avenues be created to cater the specific needs of the class, with different avenues
provided for the regular students and to the irregular students.

2. Resolution
2.1. Pursuant to the problems observed, the creation of ad hoc committee shall be
created, bearing the name of “Committee on Ways and Means” and shall be
chaired by the Treasurer of the Executive Committee and Co-Chaired by the
Chairman of the Council.
2.2. The Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means shall determine its own
functions and mandate to be approved by the council in its meeting.
2.3. The Treasurer shall be relieved as the Chairman of the Academic Committee and
the President and the Vice President of the Executive Committee shall assume the
duties of the committee with the president in charge to the students with good
academic standing and the vice-president focusing on the irregular students.
2.4. The appointed officers are asked to coordinate with the Council to improve the
functions of their office and their relations and to implement its smooth transition
of important files and documents necessary for a continuous performance of their
functions.
