INTRODUCTION TO ONLINE SUPER SERVICING CENTER

1
In today’s world Computer System is one of the integral part of our life.Computers have
made the life and lifestyle of corporate world to common man ease to a great extend.

“Online Super Servicing Center” does all of its work like keeping records of Customer and
their bookings and facilities details of Customer, etc; Manually, which is not only true but also a very
time consuming and a tedious task. It involves a lot of paperwork, which is very difficult to maintain.
Therefore they need to find some way to help them so they work more systematically, officially and
accurately.

To manage the records of Customer, their bookings and bills, etc. in better and optimum
conditions, “Online Super Servicing Center” is developed to maintain the record of each and every
Customer record and their bookings and bills.

It gives the each and every record a unique code through which its details can be retrieved, updated,
etc.

The Website maintains each and every record systematically. It also generates report like
Customer’s bill.

Thus the computerization of the existing manual system is done so as to increase the
efficiency and decrease data redundancy.

2
Preliminary
Investigation

Existing System
With tremendous increase in technology, information technology is a fast developing field.
Technology which is in vogue today might become redundant tomorrow. This ever changing scenario makes
it possible to provide the latest and most modern IT solutions to various business and institutions.

3
This Project is related to ‘Online Super Servicing Center’. By using ‘Online Super Servicing Center’
software an administrator can Insert, Update and Delete the Employee,Supplier record in this Website.

The project consists of number of forms, each of which is related to some other. There are separate
forms for representing the details of the student and teachers associated with the Institute. The project
focuses on the pre-booking.

Thus the project is a sincere effort in simplifying the task of administrators in an easily usable format.

Limitations of present system

The current system is managing the Booking of both Cars and Bike manually, which is a
time consuming and a tedious task.

4
Keeping of records of bookings made by employee is not an easy thing; an error can cause a big
problem.
It doesn’t maintain product, employee, booking details and separately. Due to this, some
confusion, it manipulates general booking details when accessing.
There is more problem of insecurity. There is possibility of loss and change of information.
Some part of the work is done manually such as booking vehicle to the employee are not stored in the
system.
It also doesn’t even store regular employee’s details and their regular package.

Advantages of proposed system

1. The burden of the manually done activities will become easy.

2. The user can view the data and performance analysis can be done.

5
3. Data retrieval is done quickly.
4. Easy to modify data.
5. Changes in any record will automatically make changes in the
related records.
6. Saves Time.
7. Appropriate master tables must be present to record relevant data.
8. Security features must exit in the Website.
10. Its main advantages of proposed Website due to computerization of records maintenance.
11. It can avoid to more paperwork because more data is stored
digitally in Computer.
12. Due to the appropriate software tools used for computerization,
avoid time consumption in maintenance records.
13.Accuracy can be maintained.

Feasibility study

The feasibility study proposes one or more conceptual solutions to the problem set for
project. The conceptual solution gives an idea of how the system looks like. The following three
things should be done to establish feasibility:-
1] Technical feasibility:-

7
Technical feasibility study determines whether the organization has the technology &
the skills necessary to carry out the project. If not then it determines how they should be obtained. In
this proposed system, the existing technology satisfies the need for the system that is available.
Therefore, the system is feasible.
2] Operational Feasibility:-
Operational feasibility study determines if the proposed system satisfies the user’s
objectives & can be fitted into the current system operation. Our proposed system will certainly
satisfy the user’s objective & it will enhance their capability. The proposed system can be best fitted
instead of the current system operation. Therefore, the system is operationally feasible.
3] Economic Feasibility:-
Economic feasibility study determines whether the project goals can be achieved
within the limits allocated to it. It must also determine that the benefits obtained from the new system

are not worth the cost.

8
System
Analysis

Fact-Finding Techniques

Fact-finding technique is one of the parts of the system analysis. At the time of analysis of the
system or before starting actual work, system analysts collect the information. For gathering
information system analyst prefers any fact-finding technique such as
1] Interview
2] Questionnaire
3] Record review

9
4] Observation.

While developing this system we have done this part by using interview & record-review techniques.
1] Interview: -
The whole system investigation part has done by taking interview of the concerned people, user &
staff. By asking them manual process of each work, by pointing hints regarding the work, by
discussing their problems deeply, by asking them their requirements, by taking their valuable
suggestion guidance regarding system study.
After taking their interviews regarding the systems study noting down the points regarding the
system. This work of taking interview-asking difficulties to concern person till all the points of the
system understood. This interview technique proved beneficial out come for system analysis.
2] Questionnaire:-
In this method we actually provide a list of questions to the user. According to the
list the user answers the questions, taking his own time without stress to answer quickly. In this
method the results Obtained are rather accurate and thoughtfully given. Questionnaires can be an
effective method for gathering facts.
E.g. how your system actually works?

3] Record review:-
Review of record is good but a tedious way to retrieve information from an
organization. This refers to a personal viewing of records.
4] Observation: -
This technique proves useful in finding the facts of the system. In this technique has done by
observing ledger, registers, document, files that are prepared manually.
