 Religious beliefs are closely related to identity; they operate differently from nonreligious ones;

they are not evaluated like other beliefs; and are very context-sensitive. Using these findings as
a foundation, Luhrmann proposes the "faith frame" and "everyday frame," two alternative
frameworks for assessing experience and data, like those proposed by Gregory Bateson in 1955.
 Even if it were the case, truth does not always influence belief. Belief is also a propensity toward
action, a relation to symbols and people. Belief is not merely a relation to contents but also a
collection of experiences, values, and symbols. Being able to hold contradictory beliefs is
conceivable if one acknowledges the presence of several truths, which is how religious belief is
defined in this context.
 Religious beliefs related to the transcendence, the ideal of truth, especially regarding the big
existential questions, and motives and functions such as the search for meaning and epistemic
certainty

 In a religious setting, rituals are symbolic behaviors that are frequently repeated and have
deep symbolic value. These can be rituals, prayers, offerings, and other symbolic gestures
carried out as a part of religious devotion or worship. Rituals assist in fostering a sense of
belonging among people and help them stay connected to their cultural and religious
traditions.
 Eliade views ritual as a recreation of a cosmic event or mythic tale. The myth is crucial in
setting the framework for ritually recognizing the actions of the present moment, any activity
derives its meaning from the gods' during the time of creation Consequently, we may say that
rituals reliant on myth because it gives individuals confidence that what they are the rite was
carried out in the prehistoric era when the gods, heroes, or the cosmos was put in place by
forefathers, who also constructed the planet and established divine templates for every
ensuing worthwhile action
