OPERATIONAL PROCEDURE

Operation Procedure:

1. Get in the driver’s seat and buckle-up and adjust both left and right side
mirrors.
2. Put on your seatbelt, do not drive without wearing a seatbelt as it is both unsafe
and illegal in many places
3. Insert the key into the Ignition Switch.
4. If starting an Automatic vehicle put the gearstick in either “P” or “N” position. If a
manual transmission, put the gear stick in Neutral.
5. Press the clutch and Twist the ignition key to start the Vehicle, release the key
just after twisting to the ignition point and the engine is running.
6. If the key will not move past the first and second notch, the car has a steering
locked, is a safety device design to help make sure the vehicle doesn’t start
unattended.
7. Jiggle or shake the steering wheel back and forth a little to allow the key to turn.
8. Once the Engine is running and ready to drive the vehicle, release the parking
brake lever, if manual transmission, press the clutch pedal and select the
gearstick in first gear, release the clutch smoothly and press the accelerator
slightly for the smoothness run of a vehicle and avoid sudden vehicle movement
put your hand on the top middle of the steering wheel and drive the vehicle.
9. If automatic transmission, release the parking brake lever, press the brake pedal
and select the gearstick to the “D” Drive position, release the brake pedal slowly
until the vehicle smoothly run.
10. Driving in reverse, if manual transmission press the clutch pedal and select the
gearstick in “R” reverse position. Release the clutch slowly until the vehicle move
in reverse. if automatic transmission, press the brake pedal, select the gearstick
in “R” reverse. release the brake pedal slowly to move the vehicle backward put
your left hand at the top middle of steering wheel and manipulate the vehicle.
11. Park the vehicle at the right parking area. Select the gearstick into the “N”
neutral position, pull the hand brake lever.
12. Before leave the vehicle, lock the steering wheel by turning the key into the lock
position and ensure lock all doors of a vehicle.
