1) First, list some of the problems that confront the world today. Bullet points

are fine. At least five, people!

2) How can artists/intellectuals help solve or confront these problems?

3) How can scientists?

4) Which of these do you think will prove more influential, more critical to

combating the world’s problems—artists/intellectuals or scientists? And don’t just

cop out and say both! Take a side, please. Explain in a brief paragraph with topic

and concluding sentences, transitional words and phrases, and something of a

counter (you will soon write an argumentative essay). (By far the most important question) I want at least 6-8
