RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BARANGAY ANTI-DRUG PLAN OF ACTION

(BADPA) 2023-2025 OF BARANGAY _________________ AND ENDORSEMENT TO
THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL

WHEREAS, pursuant to Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the “Local Government
Code of 1991”, the government at the level of the Barangay is tasked to promote the general
welfare of its constituents through the maintenance of peace and order situation thereat through
enforcement of national and local laws;

WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2015-63, dated June 16, 2015 had been issued by
the DILG, entitled “revitalization of the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) and their
Role in Drug Clearing Operations’ purposely to emphasize to local authorities, especially the
barangay officials, their principal responsibilities in support of overall government efforts to
address peace and order, particularly to curb illegal drugs;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Anti-Drug Plan of Action (BADPA) 2023-2025 had been created to
curb and address the emerging problem in illegal drugs in the country especially at the level of the
barangay;

WHEREAS, the BADPA has been formulated by the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council of
Barangay of ______________, Magsingal, Ilocos Sur and been submitted to the offices concerns
for review and approval;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of ___________________ duly seconded by all members
present, it was

Magsingal to APPROVE, as it hereby APPROVES, the Barangay Anti-Drug Plan of Action
(BADPA) CY 2023-2025
